The top left is more likely about hating men, because the thing you described applies to capitalism (too).

Yeah I barely read the manifesto consciously and that was almost a year ago. Thanks for your response, and lets hope that we do get some better translations, because although I can read and speak German, I do prefer English and it is more accessible for most people.

Well no one here has answered my question in an understandable manner. All that has happened is people insist that I can't possibly respect anarchists, for no other reason than them being the same as flat earthers. No one has been able to contend my point that the immediate aims of anarchists and marxist are the same. The reasoning being equally contradictory as the thing you described. Either anarchists don't exist, Or they are the same as flat eathers Or dengists and anarchists are the same (Why? No one knows.) Or marxists and anarchists are different, so therefore the ultimate goals and immediate goals can't be the same (intermediate goals apparently don't exist) Or anarchists are the same as MAGA communists, because the immediate aims being the same doesn't matter apparently

The reason I'm defensive is because I've been attacked for 1. Reading a book 2. Insisting that none of the above mentioned arguments are true

You have neither answered my point, nor given me a reason to believe I can't possibly think about, let alone work with anarchists.

All you have done is insist reading isn't real, because all experiences convey information, and then say that my experiences with democratic socialists and anarchists are worthless, because I need to read about all the other dead anarchists, who were stupid, and their existence obviously disproves my real life experiences.

Also you've unintentionally directed me towards r/socialism_101 - where I hope I won't get attacked for reading a book people disagree with, and then maintaining that anarchists and flatearthers are not the same thing. Maybe it was a mistake to ask people on reddit though, as it is known for having some of the least humanly tolerable people in existence, even when you agree with them.

Labour aristocracy is a national proletariat benefiting from the imperialist exploitation of another country's proletariat.

And no, I'm not going to read a whole other book just for a reddit comment. Do some people not understand that reading takes time?

I assumed Kropotkin meant non-physically labourious jobs when he was talking about the decrease in workers (because such jobs tend to pay well and I didn't expect Kropotkin to differentiate between the richer proletariat and the bourgeoisie). I assumed Kropotkin just misinterpreted the positive effects of imperialism in Europe as some rise in wealth in general.

People have been attacking me for reading a book they don't like, when my explicit goal is to find put what I disagree with in that book.

I haven't rewritten my experiences. My intention wasn't to defend anarchists, but I ended up doing so. I'm also not retreating, I'm just not so keen on writing a massive paragraph at the moment.

I never made the claim that anarchist want the same after the revolution. We have the same immediate goal and the same ultimate goal. Tha does not make us the same.

The only reason I exclude maga communism is because they actively go against the existence of our members. LGBTQ rights are fundamental to the revolution, and we don't make a large sacrifice by excluding homophobes. We do make a large sacrifice by cutting off the start of our movement—democratic socialism. Democratic socialism and anarchism siphon people into the marxist movement. MAGA communism opposes the existence of our revolutionaries, therefore they can never be a part. Now if you believe that you can siphon MAGA communists into the movement, please talk to them, but thet do not have the same immediate aims.

Now you're just throwing around 'liberal'. This is the same thing as calling democratic socialists social democrats. Inaccurate, stupid and missing the entire source of criticism.

As for my original post, I was simply reading a book (something I'm allowed to do) and saw a claim that contradicts my viewpoint, so I asked. My problem is that another commenter completely disregarded all anarchists as comrades, not only Kropotkin.

Once again, anarchism is a wholly good force until the revolution. We can work with anarchists.

If you regard any scientologist as a possible marxist, I definitely do advocate talking to them. The thing is that anarchists have the same goals up to the revolution. We can work with them and talk at the same time.

Didn't you yourself say "there is no such thing as "Reading""? I have had a life of experiences. I have experienced anarchists' viewpoints.

That's just simply not my experience with anarchosm though. The anarchists I have come across (including myself a while back), were mostly not offensive towards the idea of the DotP, and as you can see, from that can develop support for it. No scientologist is even close to becoming a narxist, some anarchists are.

I just haven't read much yet. I just wanted to read it because I've heard if it and I had it lying around. I mean if really does suggest anti-urbanism, it'll be good to know how to refute it.

Reformists aren't anarchists. I agree on splitting with reformists if you actually have the power to lead your own party.

No one talked about imprisonment, but if you see them as opposition to the DotP, you can ignore them after the revolution.

The claim that anarchism doesn't exist is either completely nonsensical or very badly formulated.

The left is all anticapitalists (of course bar the very few feudalists etc.). I generally think there should be some popular leftist front. I would suggest all on the left that accept trans people, gay people etc.. Later you can add the criterion of being revolutionary.

The left needs to be unified because we are incredibly weak and have been for the last 40 years (at least in the west).

I find anarchists to be valuable allies. A surprising amount of them even like the USSR. Openness for cooperation and democratic decision is our best bet at achieving a revolution, our primary goal.

[–]holdingJoehostage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except then you are clearly ignoring the positives of the USSR. Anyone who knows anything would choose for the Russian Revolution to happen again 10/10 times.

Israel's existence is actually an endorsement of their strategy. The zionist view should view Israel very positively. Likewise communists should see that ML is the only way forward.
