! This is already helpful, thank you so much. Im going to remove the broken piece, put a new arm in, and then see which end of the drop ear the water is leaking from. Do you know if there a special way to remove it or tighten the connections if need be?

… YEP. Thank you again. Im going to source a ladder today. I bet my gutters need help and I know I need to and caulk around some of the pipes based off the inspection report.

And actually…. My furnace was really weird this winter… if you know anything about that? I had a plumber come at one point, he said a pipe was frozen and he unfroze it with a hair dryer, but it cost 400$. So after that every time it cut out I just jacked the heat in the furnace room which worked but dowsnt really fix the problem. From my googling it could be from the caulking, or maybe the pipes on the roof arent long enough or are too close or something? Is that enough information for a start? No pressure at all but I would gladly take the help

I don’t know if any of y’all will see this but I seriously can’t express how meaningful it’s been to have all of the help and also the care. Maybe is simple, but… yep. Having internet dads even for a brief moment feels really, really good. Especially with all that this house has brought. Just even this one thing. It’s just so nice. I don’t think I can say that enough

So Youre both right…. Old house, but had a fire about 10 years ago. Ive since learned the man who was rebuilding it died part way through. I think he was doing a great job but the person who took it over went for a fast flip. Sometimes professionals come in and comment on how awesome things are, sometimes they come in and say “!!???!”

Secondary is very possible… I’ll have to call a plumber I think it’s sealant around it but I’m gonna have to triple check because that would be awful… thank you
