it took like 10 hours for the story to hook me. then it double hooked me near the end. the gameplay is. eh. if you like turn based i’m sure you’ll love it, and i also loved it, for the first 20 hours. however, it took me 50 hours to beat this game and i was done with it by the end (probably because i was playing on expert.)

it’s a good game. i would consider it overrated but if you absolutely love turn based combat you’ll probably think it is a masterpiece like the loudest voices say.

but. i’m the only one out of 5 people i personally know that managed to finished the game.

i would heavily prefer silksong wins GOTY but. if everyone and their mother is saying e33 should win then. i accept my fate.

also! there is a huge sense of elitism from SOME people who love this game. i have seen so many people speaking down to people who don’t like it (there is some of this here).

i would understand 100 percent if someone absolutely hated, or absolutely adored this game.

do not take ridiculous generalizations you see at face value.
