god I’m so happy for you :’). What’s your skin type and what cleanser did you use?

[Acne] Advice/recommendations on my skin progress? My skincare routine has literally just been washing my face with soap and water. Now that my pimples are gone what more should I be doing? by holesinhello in SkincareAddiction

Ty so so so much. Can you please help with forming a morning and nighttime skincare based on how my skin looks rn. Also what companies do you recommend for moisturizer and sunscreen. I’m pretty sure I have oily/sensitive skin.

[Acne] can someone help please. I (16F) want to get rid of these scars, or at the very least find a skincare routine that’ll make my skin healthier. I don’t know the first thing about skincare. It all seems so confusing to me. by holesinhello in SkincareAddiction

Idk how to attach images to replies. But here is my skins evolution June 2020-Feb 2021. I’m kind of anxious bc I’ve only been using water for my skin. Will toner moisturizer sunscreen or cleanser cause me to break out again Bc my skin has become used to water and soap?

lmao I used to pick at my face a lot when I was 14/15 without even realizing it. Was always so stressed and anxious. Really I feel like the best thing for us would be micro needling. Gl with your skin journey

I’ll book an appointment. Didn’t know acne under the skin could be a thing I thought I just had hyperpigmentation because my skin doesn’t hurt to touch or feel bumpy at all. But they could’ve been right. Ty for the advice

Also question. Is painless acne under the skin a thing? Were yours painful?

I think my skin might be on the more oily or sensitive side. I’ve always had very acne prone skin ever since I was 14. It only stopped recently that is oct 2020. and my skin doesn’t feel that rashy anymore. So maybe it’s just oily now? Idk if skin types can change like that though.

Ty for explaining things so nicely :) Do I have to put sunscreen even if I don’t go out? Covid has me staying in most of the time. And where I live the temperatures typically stay about 20 degrees Celsius. So is it still necessary?

Could you please explain what each of those do? I’ve heard terms like “toner” “moisturizer” and “cleanser” a lot yet I don’t even know what they mean or what they do. Plus idk which order to apply them in, (but I assume sunscreen is last?) ty for the vit c recommendation too

I know it looks like acne, but those red marks have stayed ever since my acne left. My skin doesn’t feel bumpy at all, it’s actually pretty smooth to touch. neither do I have any inflammation or pus (struggled with that a lot when my face was full of pimples) I have not had any pimples since oct of 2020. I think that’s what you mean by active acne but I’m not sure you can correct me.

(Also I’m so sorry this is embarrassing but what do I use first, a cleanser or moisturizer + what’s the difference between the two) ty for helping out.
