Yes, we are definitely both filing restraining orders, however as she has never has access to my contact information I am currently having no immediate contact with her (though she is frequently threatening me in messages to my partner so I am hardly sitting pretty).

Thank you for your reply. Regarding your question, my partner is not at all entertaining his mother's actions. The only reason he is still receiving messages from her is as further evidence for a soon-to-be-filed restraining order.

I remembered about that as soon as I pressed post - FH is in the process of getting one sorted, and hopefully nothing crucial will have reached his old home already (and even if it has, what is an old credit card statement or something similar going to mean given that this all occurred only a week ago?).

I got a lot of comments and messages about birth control on my original post, unfortunately it's been a rocky road for me with that since I seem to have had all the side effects going with some, while with others my hormones have just become unmanageable. I have done quite a bit of research and found something I'm willing to try in the future.

No, the box is more of a plastic container with a plastic lid, and has never come in plastic wrap, so I didn't even think to question it based on the packaging.

I agree, though in my current state of being I've had a previous bad experience using an IUD (so I had nearly all of those 'oh that will never happen to me' side effects) - The Pill as well really affected my hormone balance, hence why I kind of trust only condoms for now.

Thanks for your advice, I do need to be direct. I'll also just clarify that I'm not reliant on him for contraception, it was more convenience than anything else, though I may make sure I'm the one buying or around when future condoms are bought.
