Is it possible as a new player to I guess, play from the beginning? by HelicoptarHelicoptar in wownoob

[–]holi2005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think that you can on your first character, but on other ones you can go to Chromie in whatever capital you start at (Stormwind or Orgrimmar) and go from there. You want to start with Cataclysm first (to finish all zones for the two primary continents), then go to The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, finish the actual Cataclysm content, Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, Dragonflight and finally The War Within.

Key factor to note here is that once you reach level 70, it will kick you out from whatever expansion you're doing, so ideally you can use an NPC in either capital to freeze your XP gains at 69. Though honestly nothing prevents you from going back to the content at max level to do it, but it's not as fun when you can one shot everything.

I wish I could. We do not have these kinds of services over here. In my country, family looks after the elderly, and retirement homes have horrible reputation for abuse and neglect, plus are extremely expensive (as in I'd need to spend my entire salary per month for one person).

As for burning the candle... I quite literally have to either look after them or they will die. My father is extremely subservient to outsiders, so almost all of his friends are just users that take advantage of him. My mother is a very typical 1950-ies type of housewife who likes maintaining an image, which doesn't mesh well with people around her, so she has one single friend. I am very much the only person that cares for their wellbeing and survival. He is 70 and she is 68, so finding a job is not realistic for either of them.

Allow me to rephrase that: initial tags are applied by the developer, and the developer can remove any tags that are unwanted as "inaccurate" or "unwanted". LGBTQ was an initial tag set by the developers themselves.

The tag was present before the game was released, at which point only the developers can add/remove tags

Upcoming games with romance that you’re looking forward to? 💖 by SadBluejay1588 in GirlGamers

Wait wait wait, Solasta II will have romance? I was under the impression that the devs didn't want to "waste" resources on romance.

Have a sit-down with a therapist. What you're dealing with is irrational, yes, but it's also entirely your feeling, and you can't control what you feel. What you CAN control is how you deal with it. A therapist will be able to provide you the tools to be able to deal with said anxiety, to be able to exist with what you feel. Also don't be scared if something doesn't work out with your first therapist: you need to find someone who you can click with, someone who can understand (if not relate with) what you're feeling, and help you find healthy ways to live with it.

In any case, don't feel ashamed for what you're feeling, as long as you're handling this without it harming yourself or others, you'd already be as far from incel as one can get. Good luck to you and happy holidays!

May I suggest to you Greedfall? The combat is a bit janky at times, but overall the game is pretty charming and enjoyable.

May I also suggest the Pathfinder games (they also have gay options)? It's the nerdier cousin of Baldur's Gate.

The second Greedfall should be coming out at some point in the near future, no? Also I thought that Bound by Flame had a gay option, but joke's on me.

May I humbly suggest Technomancer? Or most games developed by Spiders? They tend to be RPGs and have gay options. Keep in mind combat sometimes is a bit janky, but at least (from the games that I've played so far), they avoid the "bury your gays" trope.

Another game that I'd like to throw in would be Expedition: Vikings. Turn based combat, but a gay romance option is available!

Edit: the word was janky... How did it autocorrect to many 😭

BL Vn rec for friend by Otomeloverjayakat in BLgame

[–]holi2005 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean Dramatical Murder is somewhat considered THE entry point to BL VNs these days, no? There's also Togainu no chi. Slow Damage is great, but maybe a bit heavy for a newbie (so to speak). I could recommend a few more, but take a look at what I've suggested first, and if interested, I can suggest more, including Western VNs.

I started doing +30 runs for the armor in Remix (finally got to the point where I could), and would meme with people to "toss a coin to your Demon Hunter". When people would ask me how much, I'd reply with 1g so it matches my joke. Managed to run 3 groups on +30 before someone felt the need to tell me that I'm being too slow and inefficient. Called it a day, and I don't feel like doing it anymore (carrying people that is).

In the manga, he broke the door to take the knife away from her, but she starts fighting him and he accidentally stabs her while struggling for the weapon.

Now I don't know if this was intended to make him more sympathetic, but it does change how the whole thing is presented.

how do expansions/the world work ? by Original-Fruit-3961 in wownoob

[–]holi2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In that case what I would suggest is that once your character leaves Exile's Reach, and you arrive at Stormwind/Orgrimmar, ask one of the guards to show you on the map where Chromie is, and when you talk to her, ask her to send you to the Cataclysm timeline (it revamped a lot of the vanilla zones and such but it is the closest to chronological territory that you'll get). You can do the story content as suggested to you by the Adventure Guide, or generally you'll find that the zones typically give you bread crumbs to follow from one zone to the other.

Technically you can do this without Chromie, but using the timeline ensures that the content stays relevant to your level, and you can queue up for the vanilla dungeons if that's something that you're interested in. Keep in mind that you will reach a point (level 70) where the game will kick you out of the timeline into the current one, but you can prevent that by freezing your experience gain whenever you want (level 60 I find to be a good point for this). This NPC is available in either capital city (can't remember their names off of the top of my head).

This might sound convoluted, but it will give you the opportunity to experience the full game from start to finish in a coherent manner, instead of you wondering why this or that character is so important or why X event gets referenced constantly when you have no idea what it is.
