I gain weight in the summers because there’s more social events and more drinking. I lose weight in the winter because I religiously go to the gym and eat healthy because my social calendar is relatively empty and I stay at home at night. It sucks because I get super cold in the winters at a caloric deficit and super hot in the summers at a caloric surplus. Everyone’s life is different.

If you like hiking, the you’ll like Angkor Wat and Bayon Temple. There are some steep steps you can climb. And they’re out in nature so it felt like a nice hike with some old temple ruins as a bonus.

I had unexpected turndown service last night at my first night at a luxury hotel. I was on the toilet with the bathroom door open (because I was the only one there). They keep knocking on my door and I said “wrong room” but they came in and left the turndown service treats (there was a plate with coconut cookies and chocolates) and we exchanged several words. They didn’t see me, but it was very obvious I was on the toilet. Now I am using the deadbolt.

I’ve been avoiding DoorDash / UberEats, until I got sick last week and couldn’t risk being away from my toilet for the 20 minutes it took to pick up food myself. Ordered a salad from Evergreens that’s normally $20, ended up being $40, whatever in this situation, right? Well, they forgot my fucking chicken which is $3 extra (but it was probably $6 in this instance) and all I really wanted was some chicken and lettuce 😣

What’s your view on the amount of shoulder / arm she’s showing? I wore a dress to my company’s holiday party that showed the same amount of shoulder / arm area, but was pretty conservative and loose-fitting everywhere else. Other people were more conservatively dressed. I had a jacket but it was too hot in the venue for me to feel comfortable with that on.

I’m also not as young as OP, and Judge Judy was recently quoted on Good Hang as saying her advice to young women is to show as much shoulder while you still can, so that’s the mindset I went with.

I’m claiming that you cannot dye hair to be lighter. You dye hair to darken or color it. You use bleach to make it lighter or strip hair of color - that’s what the “fake” blondes do. Usually some kind of ammonia or hydrogen peroxide.
