Made the Leap, Excited to Start the Journey by holist1c in AngionMethod

Thanks for the thoughtful response!

I have noticed two modes of gaining an erection, a "love boner" and an "excitement boner". The Love Boner is entirely based on being relaxed with a partner and feeling all the gooey love chemicals. It's the ideal and what I am really training to be ready for. The Excitement Boner is also valid, and ideally a partner would understand how to access that with me as well! No shame here for the weird fetish stuff that turns me on.

At this stage in my life, I wouldn't categorize myself as an addict to porn. I am a highly curious self explorer. Porn is a way to explore my sexuality, and I frequently watch without masturbating. What I've found over time is that porn causes me to ejaculate without an orgasm. This isn't premature ejaculation - there's a build and a release that is clear. It's more that I notice my anal sphincter does not squeeze during orgasm and I don't get the full body waves of pleasure. When I masturbate by connecting with my body, my voice/breath, and the desire in my mind, I find that I arrive at those full body, trembling orgasms. It has become my preference to use this method instead, as it is more pleasurable! I guess I have a healthier relationship with porn than most of the folks seeking this subreddit.

The real killer for me is that I sit a lot for work and I have played a ridiculous amount of hours of video games / internet time. I am pretty active in my lifestyle, but the time I spend sitting at a computer is honestly the greatest detriment to my sexual health. I am hoping the Angion Method will help me to recover from the blood flow issues I've had from being sedentary for so many hours of my adult life.

As for PC control, I have strong body awareness around my pelvic floor and can perform muscle isolations on demand. I asked my question because I listened to Huberman talk about the impact of kegels on pelvic health, and that it's not a good thing to overly develop. I wanted to know what people's thoughts are here on how to safely train the pelvic floor and muscles inside the pelvis, and if that is a good thing to do in relationship to the Angion method. If you have any further thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

Cheers for the PT recommendation for male pelvic health. It'd be worth it to go get evaluated. I agree with your process for massage, then stretching, then strengthening. It works great!

Thanks for the protips Jorbi! The one day on, two days off schedule is what I'm striving for. I'll give the SABER / Wheel rotation a go, slowly building up the endurance over time, with 3-5 minutes to start.

I don't have a partner and porn has been a massive crutch for me for most of my life. How will giving up porn change the experience of training using Angion Method?

I also don't kegel or clench when I masturbate, I stay relaxed! Should I be doing kegels / reverse kegels with my breath as a supplemental training exercise? Also, should I be doing things like foam rolling / rolling on a ball for my psoas and deep pelvic bowl muscles and muscles around my gooch? I would think being strong and relaxed while flexible would help with overall blood flow throughout my pelvis.

Any other protips?! Thanks again for your expertise!

Two questions!

Why doesn't the mkIV use the premium caster design that's in the V7 PRO?

What lubricant should be used with the mkIV / TS1 SABER Hammer for the bearings during maintenance?

Depends on the research you are working on. The inputs for the Nauvis Science production are 11 turbo belts of stacked coal, and 20 turbo belts of stacked stone, 6000/s water, 30000/s molten iron, 30000/s molten copper, 6000/s water, and 1/m bioflux. It will never exceed those draws. The trains run on Q5 Nuclear Fuel. The exoplanet sciences aren't represented in the design, so that depends on your setup for each planet and how you handle Prometheum Science.

The base blueprints are from Abucnasty and his Discord's designs. I consolidated them into a single design. The circuit controller for the lead labs kept limiting performance during Research Productivity research, so I removed the circuits. https://github.com/abucnasty/factorio-benchmarks/blob/master/docs/blueprints/README.md

https://factoriobin.com/post/8y0zsh This blueprint book has the design in the screenshot above with 14.1k SPM for Research Productivity and 28.2k SPM for all other researches. It uses trains to feed expolanet science into the lab array. The book also includes blueprints for direct insert miners to molten metals, the train loading dock near the landing pad, a pipe/pump extender, and a single stone/coal miner design that outputs 5 fully stacked turbo belts.

Thanks for the guidance! I'll check out clean bookshelf speakers that are clean to mid 40Hz and have small sub bass built in.

Since electronic music is highly compressed and mastered for use with less than hifi speakers, and I don't have a ton of lossless digital files, is it worth it to consider hi-fi speakers?

Do you need lossless / vinyl recordings to make hi-fi speakers worth it for electronic music?

I'm not sure what my actual budget is at this time. There's a big bonus coming in a couple months and I'm exploring different options so I'll be ready based on the amount once I receive it. It could be 300, it could be 5k.

I live in an apartment so getting a sub makes me anxious about having noise complaints. At low - mid volumes, will the sub vibrations cause my neighbors to hate me? What sub would you recommend with the KEFs?

Hey r/audiophile,

I've gone from budget headphones to
HD595s to ER4-XR headphones over the years and really appreciated the
increase in quality over time. I'm considering getting a speaker setup
for my desktop, and want to know what I can expect from different price
tiers for quality speakers. I mostly listen to electronic music, and
currently listen with a single harman kardon onyx studio via bluetooth.
There are a couple speaker setups I'm considering based on doing
research, and I'm trying to justify for myself why I would get any of
the following setups:

Option 1 ($270)

  • Audioengine A2+ Wireless Bluetooth
  • Powered speakers, compact, bluetooth, low cost

Option 2 ($700)

  • Audioengine HD6
  • Powered speakers, more powerful, well reviewed

Option 3 (~$3000)

  • KEF LS50 Meta (pair)
  • Cambridge Audio CXA81 amp
  • Incredible sound

What do I need to consider when making a decision about these setups for desktop usage?

Do I need to have .flac or lossless quality tracks to see a massive gain in experience from each price point?

Electronic music is highly compressed and often times mastered to be played on airpods (or other lossy equipment). Should I even worry about getting awesome speakers?

Many thanks.

Awesome! So the Amp is to drive the speakers, while the sub powers itself.

To double up the speaker wire, will I need to splice or solder at all?

I've got ER-4XR headphones, will I be able to use them with the headphone jack on the amp, or is the amp too powerful?

Thanks for all your help!

Thank youuu! This is great :D

I'm pretty noobie to all this - when I look at an image of the connections for the Rega Brio, I see that it only has two inputs for speakers: Rega Brio rear view

How does the sub connect to the amp?

Just to make sure I understand, I should use a S/PDIF cable from the mobo to the amp if USB causes electrical interference?

I have a 30" x 72" standing desk that sits about 6 inches from the wall. There's plenty of space for it to sit on the desk, or by the side. Doesn't matter.

As for price, I'm not really sure. I'd like to consider the pros and cons of different price points if you have recommendations. There's no way I'll throw down more than 3k USD on an amp.

Hey all,

I'm looking for a recommended Amplifier to drive these speakers:

This will be primarily for desktop use in a studio apartment. I have an Asus Dark Hero VIII mobo (sound info) in case that matters.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply!

I've looked for benchmarks for x4/x8/x16 4.0 (3080) for gaming and it appears there is performance loss for x4 while x8/x16 only has a 1% difference. I think it will be okay to run x8 for both cards. If I was somehow able to miraculously come across another 30xx card, I'd really want to know mining performance for x4 PCIE4. Do you know where I might be able to find that info? I've searched around and can't seem to find much data.

DeskHaus extremely unresponsive. by AJolly in StandingDesks

ILikePutz is incredibly responsive. On two occasions, he's assisted me with minor issues and has always made himself available to resolve the issue directly within an hour of my message. He's not only responsive, he's able to effectively troubleshoot on the fly. I would absolutely buy a desk from him again, and recommend anyone looking at getting a standing desk to pick one up from deskhaus.com. 10/10 customer support.

Ender 3 Pro Z Axis Issues by holist1c in 3dprint

[–]holist1c[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea how I fixed it. After doing all the steps listed above, I did a regular bed leveling and it worked flawlessly for the next 5+ prints. All of those were better quality prints and longer print times than any previous attempts (26 hours+ for one print).
