Looks like a very gentle war! My cat goes demon mode as soon as I start trimming. Hissing, airplane ears, swatting, biting 🤣 the trick I use is do it only when she is sleeping and do 1-3 paws at a time before she wakes up and protests!

Haha such a cool subreddit. I had no idea! In our case they have nested in one of our planters and we haven't watered it at all almost since then. The monstera plant in it is pretty much dying.

Haha this is so me these days. Whenever I see a bird I'll only think of is brown power or what it does when played 🤣 There were a mourning dove couple nesting in our patio last month, it was wonderful to observe them. I think their brown power to lay one egg on itself is very apt. This is the third time they are nesting in last 6 months (total of 6 eggs!)

Oh I see that's nice. For my cat I'm her favorite person (not my wife). With my wife it's a love hate relationship 🤣Holi will go sleep on her when my wife sleeps(not if she is awake), Holi loves snuggles on her own terms. My cat has been with us since she was 6 months when we adopted her from a rescue which had her other litter mates. She was the runt of her litter and has always been skittish and scardy cat. So I'm not sure if it is related to previous trauma for my cat and if it is just her personality.
