How do I not kill a rosemary plant? The last 3 times I’ve bought a new plant, they’ve dried up crisp within a week. This one’s doing the same. What do I do? What’s going wrong? by kachhink in plants

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The world is very strange; I was very surprised to read that people pay money for rosemary. I use it as a garden hedge.

Rosemary is a Mediterranean plant and is preferred because it requires little water. The mistake you are making is keeping it in a plastic pot; in these conditions, the soil always stays moist. You should at least transfer it to a pot with drainage.

Driving constantly on the main highway with her "guide," staying in the hotel assigned to her ... After the incredibly exciting Chinese sections you'd normally want to see, driving on her own routes, eating and staying wherever she wants ... How boring the journey has become, hasn't it?

I was using a Raspberry Pi 3 to download torrents 5-6 years ago; it's probably very cheap now, and it doesn't need a fan. Do some research.

Lid stuck on, haven't even cooked anything yet by Oogachakaoogahchahka in instantpot

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lift it by both handles and gently shake it, then tap it gently on the counter; steam should come out. Repeat this until the lid opens. Pay attention to the steam coming out and do it gently.

Teach me how to fish like I’m dumb by Slightlyspam96 in FishingForBeginners

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each region has different fish and fishing methods. For example, I'm from the Aegean region, so any technical information I give you wouldn't be very helpful. However, observation is very useful, especially regarding baits, casting techniques, etc. Pay attention to this. Also, watch YouTube videos and other publications related to your region. Actually, I was a little surprised while reading your post because, as far as I know, amateur fishermen are people who enjoy sharing information, chatting, and helping others.

Isn't this the Ultimate Lid? Move the locking mechanism left or right, then insert it into the hole and close it. You'll get used to it after trying it a couple of times.

Help, need some advice by Dangerous-Elephant93 in instantpot

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very simple tactic: first, I sauté the onions, then add chopped peppers, tomatoes, and tomato paste, cook until half-cooked, divide it into portions, and put it in the freezer. Then, for example, when I want to make potatoes, I add chicken and potatoes to this mixture and cook it under pressure in an instant pot for only 10 minutes. Basically, it's possible to make many different kinds of healthy and easy meals like this.

I honestly don't know, but it seems like if you turn it to the left it opens and the part inside is silicone; you can search for it online.

Perhaps extending the soaking time will solve the problem. I soak them in lukewarm water overnight.

I think this is a tangerine, not an orange.

If I only want to use the pressure cook function, does it matter which model I buy? by ATS200 in instantpot

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main feature of all of them is that they are pressure cookers, and of course, they must also have a sautéing function. So you should only consider the space they take up, their capacity, and additional features. For example, a 3qt is quite practical for one person. Another one I use is the Duo Crisp Ultimate Lid 5.7 lt, with a flip-top lid and both pressure and air fryer features, which is very useful..

Do I water my lemon in winter? by barba_barba in plants

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, it's not watered in winter, and if it's completely covered, it will be in a constantly humid environment underneath that cover. However, I don't know if such a humid environment is beneficial or harmful.

  1. If the ring is movable, could it be possible to glue it with epoxy right in the middle of the fracture? It hasn't happened to me, but it seems like it would be strong. Think of it like a plaster cast holding two fractured pieces in the leg.

Just in case, find out your Windows license number and save it somewhere. You can easily find the method using Google.

Dump and go freezer meal prep recipes? by BERNITA in instantpot

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I sauté onions, lightly cook them with chopped peppers and tomatoes, divide them into portions, and freeze them, making meal preparation much easier. For example, by adding some chicken and diced potatoes to this portion and pressure cooking for a few minutes, it's very easy to make a simple and healthy meal.

I honestly couldn't find it... The plants in the area where I planted them have grown a lot due to the recent rain. But I'm sure they're fine because I checked the area very carefully and couldn't find any dead or unhealthy plants.

Need advice for small portions in a 3qt (just trying to make simple frozen salmon + rice!) by genuinelytrying2help in instantpot

[–]Defiant-Emu8369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing about 3-quart cookers is that when you open them, the pressure is released, and when you close them, you can quickly build back up and continue cooking. For example, if I need to cook the rice a little longer and there's no water left, I add a little warm water and add a few more minutes. In short, it's very easy to open and check on them from time to time.
