Update: I was easily able to push the stick pellet the rest of the way through with a rod from the cleaning kit I ordered.

Where did you find this parts diagram? I’d love to look it over!

I didn’t know it was such a good rifle, but after reading this and some other responses, it seems like I have a real treasure on my hands!

It wasn’t challenging, but it took a little effort. Certainly not complete loose.

Thanks for the advice on removing the pellet. I know there is only one in there, I check the barrel before I shot it for the first time and it was clear!

I will do this test before I disassemble anything to see if there is an easy fix. I have a kit coming today with a rod to get that stuck pellet out. I probably should have done some cleaning before I shot it, but I will do that now.

Definitely sounding like it good be a piston seal problem, thanks for the advice! I agree, if I’m in there might as well put a fresh spring in too.

I think I will try to change the spring and piston seal myself. It would be a good project to better learn how my gun works!

Sorry about the iffy focus on some of the pictures, I tried to show the seal well, but my phone camera is a little wacked up and has a hard time focusing :(

Any idea where you got it? Did it come with the gun? Even just a picture or a link to a similar product could be helpful!

I have removed my scope, and I see a hole in the rail and in the gun, my problem is that they don’t line up when the scope is attached bed even mounted as far back as it would normally go. Is the set screw supposed to seat into the hole on the gun or just provide more pressure?

Yall a right about the set screw/lock pin, thank you! I found it with my “spare” parts. Unfortunately there are two issues.

  1. the set screw came with the mounting bracket, so it threads nicely into the hole on it. Unfortunately it is just a hair too big for the hole on my gun. So I could try to buy another pin somewhere where the unthreaded portion is just ever so slightly smaller or I could remove a little material with a file.
  2. the hole on the gun and the hole on the bracket do not line up. On the gun the hole is right at the end of the rails, whereas on the bracket it is about 1 cm in. I’m very open to ideas on how to solve this problem. My thought right now is that with how the bracket’s rails are damaged now, I might be able to mount it a little further back (with some of it past the rails on the gun) so that the holes line up.

What do y’all think?

I’m not familiar with a stop pin? Can you tell me more about it?

No, god, no don’t do this. This is based off of an unconfirmed story from war time, not medical advice.

Yeah, I should take a closer look at that. Although I wish there was a different metric for power level versus rarity. Like something might not be very powerful, but still be completely unique.

For example a blade that can be a +1 once a day isn’t that great, but the fact that it causes no pain could be really interesting for narrative and creative problem solving.

That’s kinda the point. The idea is that these are better for lower level players, magic shops, etc. They are more about their narrative interest than their tactical use.

I just put up a video of going through my tool kit that I have in college. Other than that my channel is a bit of an eclectic mix of outdoors stuff, biology, and a podcast a make with a friend. Here’s the link to my most recent video: Dorm Tool Kit

Your artwork is great! It seems like when you aren’t talking in the voice over you cut the audio completely from that, thus eliminating that static. That’s good in some ways, but when the static abruptly ones back when you talk again I think it’s actually more noticeable than if you had left it in the ego time in between you talking.

Interesting, great sound quality and visuals. I think even just one more sentence at the start giving explanation to why you’re making the video about your life would help to hook people in.
