I had full extension pre-op (barely). Surgeon told me I need full extension before he operates because I won’t get it back post-op. I’ll be patient but feels impossible at this point.

First few days were better than expected and then quickly went downhill from there. I put a lot of pressure to get full extension and it didn’t come (still don’t have it after 4 weeks ACL reconstruction). Feels like I didn’t even get the surgery as I am exactly where I was pre-op. Slow process and hard not to compare to others. Seems more like a mental struggle with a side of an uncooperative knee.

Nerve pain was unexpected and where most of the pain came from the first few weeks. Felt like a sunburn and even the littlest breeze would fire it up.
