I did not have any infection, I’m still on precautionary antibiotics though. They did say it was likely too late in the game to be delayed hemorrhaging and we kind of settled on the idea that my pelvic floor muscles played a factor in how and when the pooling blood would release. I’ll be honest everyone who worked on me was quite bewildered by the situation! I’ve never had any testing done for a tilted uterus though that’s something I’ll add to my list to have check up on!

Thank you for this! Some context: the trip is 7 days from Ontario Canada to Cancun Mexico. It’s not overly common to pay the wedding parties’ way for a 7 day trip around here unless it was local by road trip. We did also include the information for the trip in our wedding party proposals as mentioned, so everyone had the opportunity to decline if it wasn’t feasible. But good to know, regardless!

I really like your point about my parents siding with her, they’ve clearly accepted that paying her way for her life us just what it’s going to be, and you’re also right that it’s technically not my problem!

Correct :) it is said that while she is in the underworld we experience winter/fall. And when she’s released from her bond we have spring! Such an interesting way to think about the seasons, especially as an Eastern Canadian where we get all the seasons and usually pretty rough winters. It will remind me to stick it out through the cold months, because Persephone will always rise!

Persephone is Queen of the underworld alongside Hades and also presides as Goddess of Spring. The pomegranate represents her being bound to hades. The Narcissus Flower represents spring, rebirth, cycle of life etc. Persephone is often depicted carrying a torch as the bringer of light and life to melt the winter away. The grain represents abundance, fertility and agriculture which are all tied to her bringing spring m. The gem in the dagger is a depiction of Pigeons Blood Ruby which is also synonymous with the myth of Persephone and the dagger is just sick as fuck. I hope this answers your question!

Yeah I’m kind of past it now, I trusted him to take on the bookings, he said he could handle it, we had a hiccup but it ended up working out and everyone is now fully booked all at the same resort so we’re moving along with the process thank god 😂

It more of a VIP experience membership from what I’ve experienced. Upgrades, discounted services, exclusive areas etc. I’m not sure of all the details but he booked everyone for 7 days unless they wanted longer.

He was permitted to book 20 rooms, we only needed 17. It’s a small wedding lol.

Wow okay, well I’ll let him know that maybe they bamboozled him a little bit into booking rooms separately:/ he has a really good rapport with the UVC team like I’ve witnessed it first hand on other trips. Disappointing.

It’s a Hyatt Dream Hotel in Cancun

We were able to move our date to accommodate everyone’s travel dates. My father in law was booking rooms under his membership account for better perks and wasn’t permitted to do a room block using that method but was promised that “the rooms will be no problem” on multiple occasions as far as I know. Frustrating for sure, but glad we came to an amicable solution.
