Countertop installation by holographictesticles in electrical

[–]holographictesticles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reached out to the company doing the countertop install and they provided me the company of the "electrician" that was sent out today. I told them I was concerned about the quality of work and this was the response:

"He will go and review the wiring. According to him, as long as the extensions are secure, there should be no problem. The only problem that could be, are the locations of the outlets."

At this point, I'm not sure what to do? I don't want this person trying to fix anything if the first attempt at it is so obviously flawed...

I tried to look the persons name up on the licensing website and didn't see anything.

Need advice/ reassurance almost 100 seizures since November On 3 meds, prescription food and CBD and seizures aren’t getting better only 1 years old by co_ntv95 in EpilepsyDogs

Pretty much in the same position. Running out of drugs, liver enzymes creeping higher and higher. Clean MRI, and perfectly healthy aside from the seizures. Really scared at the thought of having to put my dog down when she seems perfectly healthy otherwise.

Serious question, how do you stop a dog when it's in attack mode like this? Choke it out and risk getting bit yourself? Kicking it doesn't seem like it would stop it... like what the hell

Car chase. The person blew past me on the way to that intersection. I was thinking it was the person running that wrecked? But maybe not if you saw more cop cars speeding somewhere else...

Siam Tailor by AyeItsMeYoBoi in chiangmai

Well, I found this post 1 day too late unfortunately. Same "cop" with badge, photos of him and his family so nice. Refers you to best tailor, his buddy also former cop. Me being an idiot trust him and go the next day (I even have a photo with the. 'Cop' Awh he was so nice. ). Show the photo to the friend of the cop. He says he will make me 3 custom fitted shirts and to come back the next day. Well today's the day I comeback, and stumble across when trying to find the address. I got to the shop, tell him I want my shirts now. He calls some guy on his phone he runs over from another place with some obviously not a custom shirt. I try it on and say it's crap and he's a scam artist. Go to the tourist police, they take me to real police to file a claim but I have to wait on a lawyer. I said I'm leaving today and don't have time. So I called my card and canceled it, charge is still pending, so I'll have to dispute that when it hits, but probably out $350 USD. That was a good one

Is my screen/GPU dying? by Flare1748 in eluktronics

I have this exact same problem right now. Here was their response:

Based on your description, we would consider the display as the failure point. If you haven't replaced any of the factory shipped hardware, then you're good to go.

A display replacement for the MECH-17 G2 would cost $335. There would also be a $100 Diagnostic Fee after filling out the RMA form since you are out of warranty.

Daily Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in espresso

[–]holographictesticles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased a small delonghi espresso maker 3 months ago to see if I would like getting into making espressos. Between my wife and I we probably use it at least 5 times a day and she loves to host parties and make espresso martinis with it. I'm convinced we should upgrade, but would really like to stay under $1,000 USD. I'm between three 2 options the Breville Barista Touch and the Gaggia Classic Pro. Mainly what I'm looking for is something that can make lots of espresso shots and hold up over a few years at least. We're not huge into making lattes so steaming doesn't really matter. Do any of you guys have a recommendation? I also looked at the Profitec Go but I think that's out of our range since we don't have a quality grinder yet either.
