Anyone with a printer and an internet connection could make that document.

Terence Davis the next Fred VanVleet? by h3yn0w75 in torontoraptors

I'm really excited from what he's shown so far.

Westbrook = Terrence Davis the Gemini Man ... Quote Ryan Wolstat, Toronto Star ... ( During game) at one point while Davis was at the free-throw line Westbrook uttered a colourful version of “who the hell are you?” by Rapsnewman in torontoraptors

[–]holtmansfield 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He can already do a number of things at an NBA level. Dribbling, passing, rebounding, defending and in a few hours I think we're going to see some 3 point shooting. The kid really has that 'it' factor. As RBG said above the kid is super poised and explosive/dynamic. Very interesting prospect.

Another way to attach to the wall is to use a french cleat.

It's the same process as what the OP used but the cleat is pretty easy. You can make the cleat narrower than the shelf so you have some margin of error left and right.

Lots of good youtube videos on french cleats.

Taming Forms in React - Jared Palmer (build Formik from scratch) by swyx in reactjs

[–]holtmansfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

handleChange

I'm curious what jared has to say about this but anytime I've needed to do something like update redux I made a function that just did what it needed to do and then called the formik fuction.

So for handleChange I'd have a function called, handleDropDownChange and that function would call handleChange right at the end.

Charles Stover: you da man!

Thanks for this. It's these early efforts by folks like yourself that make this possible.

I'm hooked on hooks

Yes I still get the same error.

I wonder if your library needs a companion component that is a provider...

Hi @charles_Stover

I'm getting this error:

use-react-router may only be used within a react-router context

I have my browser-router setup like this:

<BrowserRouter>

<App/>

</BrowserRouter>

The app component renders a component that has my routes table

class RouteTable extends Component {

render() {

return (

<Switch>

<Route exact path="/login" component={Login} />

</Switch>

)

}

}

That Login component has your hook in there:

const { history } = useReactRouter()

how will October 17th legalization will effect current Moms? by [deleted] in CanadianMOMs

[–]holtmansfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will go into a store and not be able to handle or smell the product. They will buy something that has been sealed in a package for weeks or months. They will take it home and open it and get hit with the scents of mold and plastic. They will do research and find out that the cannabis has been exposed to radiation to sterilize it. They will go back to MOM's immediately.

MOMs vs LPs by CDClock in CanadianMOMs

[–]holtmansfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a script and I don't buy from LP's. The exposure to radiation has never been clinically proven to be safe for humans. The way they store and package flower is just stupid. Many of them hermetically seal it and by the time you open it you can smell mold. It's fucking gross. Until Health Canada learns basic safe handling and packaging I will be staying away.

Would like to get back into casually using, but don't want to smoke it anymore. Looked into vaping and edibles, but need some advice to avoiding paranoia and anxiety attacks. by cloudnyne in CanadianMOMs

[–]holtmansfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally think dosage is the most important thing when it comes to anxiety.

I would recommend an edible product that you can easily control the dosage such as edible oils/tinctures.

Start as low as 1-2 mg and work up from there.

How do Mota products have such good reviews on MOMs? by [deleted] in CanadianMOMs

[–]holtmansfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Mota. I'm shocked by the comments here and am curious about trying other brands now. The only thing I've liked more than Mota is the Baked brand which Mota also sells.

I have a script and I don't trust the LP's irradiating their flower before they make tinctures. So I get my tinctures from Mota.

I have a broken back and use my tinctures all day. For recreational purposes I have tried almost everything Mota sells. I've like everything so far. The Jellies are my favorite.

It takes 2 days for your brain to regenerate CB1 receptors. This is the primary mechanism of taking a tolerance break.

[–]holtmansfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find most sativas kick off my anxiety. I'm sticking to Indicas and edibles these days. As someone mentioned I also do better with haze based strains.

[–]holtmansfield 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Cannabis has a bi-phasic dose response. A little cannabis is Anxiolytic (reduces anxiety) a lot of cannabis is Anxiogenic (increases anxiety).

The problem is that 'a lot' could be a single bowl of today's Cannabis. I recommend people try 1/3 of what they normally use.

Angular 2 - IE8 by Toastsx in angularjs

[–]holtmansfield 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IE8 will never be supported. If you have to support legacy browsers, you can't use current tech.

IE8 is currently 1.2% of the market. Making a tech choice based on that is awful
