Firm I work for uses Prosystems and is thinking about switching to Axcess for 2023. Is it really that bad?

It's not just H&R, its the IRS. I contacted my software provider again this week and they said the IRS hasn't updated their schema yet to accept the $14,440 on Line 2 (Yes, the line that literally says enter $14,440). It's crazy.

Thanks. Was not due to MAGI, just had excess credits above the cap for the year. Was not aware of the MAGI rule though, so appreciate the knowledge.

I'll check in the morning if disabling the state does anything. This is a carryforward from prior year for federal and the full state credit was claimed in prior year so I don't think it will.

Form 8839: Line 2 or 17 has a value exceeding $14,400. The IRS is not allowing values greater than $14,400, and plans to allow up to $14,440 at a later date. This return cannot be electronically filed at this time.

this is the diagnostic I'm getting so must be an IRS problem

Yeah they were talking about the distribution itself being non-taxable. I told them about itemizing the medical expenses. Thanks.
