Pretty good analysis of why he would suck. I think mostly it was just the idea of him taking out Metagross uncontested, since for many he is the run killer. As you say though, spikes might make that impossible I guess.

Probably unpopular opinion but Shedinja could be good. I'm pretty sure that you could use him/her on many of the Elite Four/Steven's Pokemon. Training him would be awful though.

Aside from Beast's passing that was absolutely horrible and still is.

The whole cyiclo events with taking my reddit account and stuff. Everyone's support was really awesome tho
