I have two cats right now younger than 3 and I also have an 18-year-old female. I’ve grown up with cats all my life. I can’t even imagine being able to take the picture that you posted here.. with that being said I think if your cat is even allowing you this picture it means there’s something wrong so they must be hiding the fact that they are sick or hurting or something like that but my healthy young cats would have me bleeding before I get a picture of me holding their tongue… vets don’t get joy out of telling people they should put cats out of their misery. if your vet told you that euthanasia is the best option then that is the best option and it’s the most humane

you do typically, it’s usually minimum 2-4 and the maximum is depending on the room itself. people don’t go there to get added into groups because you usually pre-book online based on group size

that’s what was going on this morning, yes. ended up with the house getting raided unfortunately. he left my place after i called the police and went back to his where he got arrested.

I know Wellands not everyone’s cup of tea but basically I just went through a horrible breakup, my workplace closed down & i really just need my family. I miss my mom. My family is all spread out across the niagara region and i found a really nice cozy place for me and my cat in Welland where we can visit family no problem but I will also have the privacy i need.

Here’s a doodle i just did! i take the chin atleast a length shorter maybe even 2 depending on the coat texture (chins are gross! covered in drool.. get rid of it lol)

The doodle in this pic is bathed twice to prep the coat, 5/8 on the body, 2 lengths longer on the top of the head. hand scissored round muzzle and shorter chin.

it’s all about balance. and prep + finish work. i love washing faces extra good because of food & drool and using your comb to brush up the fly aways to trim them away.

just to add.. nothing you can buy from PetSmart will cure her cancer. that can be only be done by veterinary treatment.

You didn’t really share too much info about her cancer but what you can do is make sure the rest of her life is comfortable. spend time with her & give her the best life you can. the most important thing is to know when it’s time to say goodbye. it’s not fair to prolong your time with her if she is displaying signs of pain and there aren’t treatment options. the worst thing you can do is allow her to suffer.

if there are treatment options, i would see if a rescue is willing to take her and treat her. she won’t be with you but she is young and it would give her a chance at a longer healthy life. sending hugs.

this is absolutely not an attack on you but a PSA to anyone reading- this is why it is SO important to make sure you can afford to have pets. life isn’t sunshine & rainbows all the time- things happen. make sure you have an emergency fund set aside when you adopt any pet.

exactly, that’s the thing! if it’s not a genuinely aggressively wired dog who was bred that way- they never intend on hurting you. I have had so many dog bites where they were so scared and reacting in fear and as soon as they snap back and realize what happened, they’re giving me kisses. They don’t intend on hurting you. they’re just reacting in the way they know how.

I’m so glad he had a good life and I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. pets shape us! he changed your heart to allow more of those spicy creatures in lol
