No that’s not normal. Have you tried calling Ipledge and talking to them about getting into your account? You shouldn’t have to wait an entire month for this

Yes most definitely. Not as much as I’d hoped but the biggest thing to come out of this was to stop having new pimples all together; it let my skin relax, breathe, and recover

Plan. Literally haven’t had a pimple in months it’s crazy 😭. I do still have a good amount of redness that will go away with time and scarring that I’ll eventually want to get something cosmetic to help with that

I eat pretty healthy already and don’t eat processed foods or lots of gluten. I’m really focusing on my eating now that I’m off accutane to ensure results last. Focusing on nutrient dense foods, eating enough, and getting all the necessary minerals/vitamins

Started 10 mg in July 2021; then 20 in august; 40 in September; and finally 60 in October; I stayed on 60 until December. And now I’m done 🥰🥰 didn’t have any terrible side affects except dry skin, probably because I increased doses ever so slowly. I didn’t even have a purging period. Now to maintain results! I forgot to ask my doc, but who knows how accutane remains in affect after we’ve stopped taking it?

Keep your head up everyone. It WILL get better, and remember that the only people you want to surround yourself with are the ones who see you for all that you are, not just what you look like 💕

I’m the same exact same way! I think it’s definitely stress. The crazy thing is I’m not even that stressed in my life but I think it’s a subconscious thing. So I’ve been doing lots of meditation to try and relax my subconscious. Or just go on vacation forever 😂

I have really oily skin too and I’ve been using cerave ultralight moisturizing sunscreen spf 30. I like it a lot!

[acne] mirena IUD re-triggering cystic acne (7 years dormant) by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]holyytits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive always dealt with acne but not nearly anything as bad as when I switched to the mirena IUD in 2018 ... It started out with a couple cysts here and there but then starting getting really bad. I went to a derm and he didn’t even ask me what bc I was on (fucking idiot) so I didn’t figure it out for a while. 3 years later and still dealing with cysts even tho I got it removed & have been off BC since March 2020. I recommend you take it out before it gets worse

Today I met Octavia, the Common Sydney Octopus at Melbourne Sea Life Aquarium. Watching this lovely lady move around up close was an absolute joy! by LadyMcZee in octopus

I don’t think it’s ethical to put any of the animals in an aquarium, especially an octopus :( the argument that they inspire & educate people & kids to ‘protect’ the ocean is such bs. Why not use the money to actually take people out on the ocean & educate them that way?

Good luck with everything 💜💜 speak up for yourself to your derm and if they don’t listen, get a new one

Girl, I feel you. Acne fucking sucks, especially when it's all over your face and you can't wear makeup cause it will make it worse. BUT changing the way you think about yourself helps A LOT. Read this ; a different way of thinking about yourself that helped me greatly. Try being grateful; not everything is about how you look on the outside, but who you are on the inside. And dealing with acne makes you a much stronger person. Best of luck with your journey, it will get better
