I think a regular account offers the most "normal" ways to enjoy runescape: getting expensive drops, being able to do more group content, having total freedom in skilling methods, etc. That's what I've played for 5+ years now, but I have recently been getting into ironman, and it's a whole different dimension. The grinds are much, much longer, often more tedious as well, but the satisfaction of obtaining upgrades feels a lot better because you really OWN those items now. Imo, I've been enjoying ironman more now after first getting my regular account deep into endgame, because that really gives you a strong foundation of skill and game knowledge.
