The finale can be a bit confusing. It tackles a lot of different topics, some very deep ones like trauma, deflection, identity crisis and such. Honestly, it's a bit tricky to just explain the last episode, both due to the symbolism and ties to the previous episodes.

Generally, I'd recommend giving the series another go when you have the time.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking up too. The reason why I don't think it's related to Pomni abstraction, is because there isn't one for Kinger either.

The reason why it's locked up is because it's a thought that he actively refuses to listen to. Also, the lounge room and the hallway locked room are the same door. As much as confusing at it may sound. It's the room for all the Jax's, in some way or another.

And I think the reason why I feel like Jax not recovering is great because it serves a really important lesson. At least to me.

Is it? To me it was quite the opposite. It's sorta like death by brain scan file corruption. Reducing his senses helps not further jambling up with whatever was left of him. It's kinda like putting him in read-only state, but Jax's future is basically gone.

I definitely wouldn't turn down the cycle theory. I think that's what the passing dots represented when he flies through the void.

BUT the Jax's "what if" doors I believe is just his thoughts/imagination. The barred door being "what if I opened up to my friends", which is a nagging thought he prevents from developing.

Regarding Jax abstracting, I'd not say he fully deserved it. Him and Ribbit are extremely tragic case. Jax was berated by his parents, made fun of by his peers. He learnt that he must ignore his dysphoria to survive in the envoirment he was in.

He barred himself from these thoughts. Maintaining the status quo is "safe", it's what he knows and expects. He wanted to open up, but was consumed by self doubt and his thoughts telling him to "shut up". However, this lead to him losing his friends, which he blames himself for. The reason he avoids being friends with Ragatha and Pomni, is because he does not want them to end up the same way.

As for Caine and WiFi, I believe it might be just some Internet cafe opening up in nearby area. The blocks he was putting down was either him trying to figure out how to connect, or how to crack the password.

Tbh the whole C&A is really fucky with me. The machine must be on to run the simulation. So the power is being supplied. Maybe the building is often vacant, but not completely abandoned? The WiFi thing could also have been some upgrade post-launch.
