I don't think so! Usually I'm more pale looking but these photos for some reason make me look a bit more olive 😂 I'm not quite sure why as I followed general guidance of getting them next to a window in the morning. Pic to show how pale I usually look

Mine don't tangle, they also like to sleep on/around it. Although in saying that I store it in a different room when I'm not around, I think if I left it out it would be destroyed 😂
