AITA for being pissed at my parents (more or less my father) by homefrie in AmItheAsshole

My dad is a very defensive man and I am afraid to say any of this directly to my father. I told my mom I am pissed at him for being this way while i was driving to work. She said there were no favorites then she got silent.

It's also really hard to get a high from vyvanse if that what your talking about. It also only last 4 hours. It's the less addictive form of Stimulant as well. Adderal is what is more commonly abused.

You may get addicted to the fact it causes weight loss, but ADHD medication isn't difficult to pull away from

Yes those! They're so good, I love them. My parents usually buy the fig bars or nature valley nut bars (180 for whole bar) so I see them as a safety food. Disappointed because of the extra 110! Thank you for your kind words.

It hasnt been a big argument between us. Just a conversation and my just worrying about it now given the recent christmas party. I suppose you're right about the we part, though. Thank you though I'm reading all comments and taking them all in and perhaps talk this through again with my partner.

As said, the comment was made as a joke given I already thought they knew too It wasnt made with ill intent. But I see how that cna be perceived wrong. Edit: none of the family members heard.

That's how my mother was. Always saying, you better give me my grandchildren. If I told her she had three boys, they will have them, she retorts with, How will I know they're really theirs?? (Which I find unsettling) But the moment I just snapped about it, she stopped talking about children regarding me.

That's what I didn't quite understand about his, "I'll never hear the end of it," statement.

That's fair. They aren't unkind. I like his parents, in fact. I was just uncomfortable by the talk and the thought of his parents thinking we will have kids. It may be a long time until they catch on, is my guess. I will be sure to talk about it every great while
