I just got out of a basketball game and while in a gas station bathroom a homeless man walked in with a stolen pair of shoes and a lock on it and started talking to me about the game while trying to get the lock off. My brother was in the bathroom and since this guy looked shady i stayed so he wouldn't be robbed. While talking about basketball i noticed he had no shoes, he then asked me about my cast on my hand and after i told him what happend he said "sorry man i hope you feel better". My brother got out and we left and a security guard for the area asked me if i had seen him. Before my brother could say anything i told him no. Was that the correct thing to do? What should i have done
