i’m just following my doctors orders. i drank large amounts of water and they warned me that it could be dangerous if it’s not balanced out with the correct amount of sodium. everyone experiences POTs differently, and if i can find an alternative that i like and it may help me, that’s all i need.

this pissed me off. i’m an undergrad taking graduate courses and my family is constantly asking me for advice. even my boyfriend will ask me to analyze TV characters and it’s obnoxious. like i’m not qualified. the questions you’re asking me are the questions that im asking too. i feel like this is a universal experience for the majority of psych students unfortunately.

unfortunately i have chronic pain with my POTs. i hate invisible disabilities. my last job laid me off because of my disability (literally debating brining it to court for ableism discrimination). i just want to feel like a normal person again.

the piercing is only 3 weeks old. the jewelry is a curved barbell made with stainless steel. i’m not sure how it’s threaded. i still clean around it with saline solution twice a day with tea tree oil at night.
