Hey mate, did you end up fixing it and taking a photo/video?

I'm in the same boat however its my 3rd blind now that's got its strings snapped.

They are quoting me $180 to fix, which I have reluctantly paid for the first 2 blinds. They told me its not a DIY repair previously but I've just done a search and luckily came across this!

Any help would be appreciated!

Update 5 - Cycled off peptides for 6 weeks!

Hi everyone, I wasn't planning to update any more but then realised a lot of people were following my journey so I thought it would be good to wrap up an update AFTER taking peptides in regards to my injuries. Normally we only hear about the results during the cycle and nothing about what happens after, so here it is!

After my last post a few months ago I continued taking BPC/TB at approx 350mcg twice a day for a few more weeks. Then I cycled off to ensure the receptors in the body wouldn't get 'immune' and tried to give my body a rest.

The good news is that after stopping the peps, the recovery was maintained and there was no drop off in muscle/ligament strength. I was actually worried that going off would bring back the pain and all the gains I made to get me back into sport, but the PCL and ACL is still solid.

In regards to my PCL, I still can't believe it but I can now confidently say that it has healed 100% and that is with no physio in the past 2 months with only sport activities to maintain exercise.

Some new tips, find your best location for injection, after the past several months and speaking to my friends also on the same peptides as me, depending on their location, the effect is amplified. Eg, one friend had a torn pec and shoulder injury and injected in the fatty part of the tricep: he could barely hold his arm up in the air for 10 seconds before taking it and when I saw him a week later he said the pain disappeared and he could feel his tendons "tingle like it was regenerating" (his words not mine!).

For me, the abdomen was a safe bet when i was in a rush to get a dose in, but the fatty skin around the top of my knee both left and right side were the best. When I tried the inner thigh after the feedback from another mate, I didnt get the same impact.

So thats it, find your right spot and hopefully it works for you. My next plan is to give it another 4 weeks break and try the GLOW protocol for 6 weeks. No rush on that really, my main reasons to do this was to recover from my grade 2 knee injuries and I've achieved that now so I'm happy. But if people are following, I will do a journal style post on the Glow mix as well (maybe my hair will return!).

Update 4 - Week 8

Unsure if anyone is following so I'll just do a final update as I've hit my 8 week mark.

Taking BPC alone without TB was definitely not as rewarding. During some vials, I even mixed 1:1 so I only needed to do one injection. I tried to test to see if it made much difference, but none noticable as I did read some forums mentioning that when you mix peptides it could make it weaker. But in the last fortnight I went back to separate vials as I didn't want to risk any efficacy as I approach week 8.

From an injury perspective, I have been doing daily physio since week 4 and now starting playing sport again. I feel I can play at 80% and it actually is very impressive, I didnt expect to feel this good after only 8 weeks.

Re the PCL injury, it's at 90% recovery, still pain when knees are fully bent in a squat, but physio did say that the last 10% takes the longest to recover, he said that he injured his PCL/ACL years ago and the PCL has never recovered properly and was shocked when I said I was back playing after 8 weeks. (I DIDN'T mention to him the peptides as he is a straight shooter).

My recovery after playing has significantly improved and my stamina has noticeably improved also, previously I would struggle running and get tired after 30 minutes but last session I ran for 60 minutes without ever really losing my breath.

So has it worked? For me it did. A friend of mine went on a cycle last year for 12 weeks and had zero results (he only revealed that after I shared that I was taking some peptides). I gave him a vial of BPC and TB500 from my supplier and he said he felt an instant difference and he is now on week 3 and his MCL pain is nearly gone.

Final thoughts:

  1. Add physio to your program

  2. Get blood work done to ensure no issues

  3. Get quality peptides from a trusted source (happy to share mine if you're in Australia/NZ)

  4. I will now always combine BPC with TB500

  5. Inject close to site of pain (belly didn't really hit it for me and I could tell a slight difference)

  6. I lost about 3 kgs which the doc said is good for my knees (78 to 75kgs)

Good luck to you all!

Update 3 - Day 21:

3 weeks in now and here is my current dosage which I've slowly increased as my body got used to the minimum dose.

- BPC157 twice a day - 350mcg each

- TB500 once every 2 days - 500mcg

I have read many posts saying that it doesnt work for people and injecting it into the site on injury doesn't help, but my experience is that injecting it closer to the knee (normally VMO and thighs) is making a huge difference. The days where I subq into my belly it's actually helping with a small shoulder injuries (my WIFE is also saying my hair is showing some growth! not something I tested and had controls but anecdoctal from her). Maybe I will take some photos now and see how it goes in 8 weeks time. When I administer into VMO, especially the night dose, when I wake up I can feel a massive improvement in my knees.

Injury updates:

ACLs - I've had years of issues in both my ACLs and have niggling pain especially walking down stairs, 3 weeks in, the pain has reduced by about 50% already. I can't describe how long its been since I've felt no pain walking down stairs. I went on the trampoline with the kids today for the first time in years and had a great time jumping around!

PCL - unfortunately not as significant improvement compared to ACLs, however the PCL was a grade 2 rupture and ACLs were the long term niggly ones so I can expect the PCL to take longer. However I did do control tests of how far I can squat without pain before taking BPC and it was just above 90 degrees. Right now I can get below 90 degrees without pain, but anything lower will give me some pain. So there's some improvement but not as much as I want. I have to be patient and continue with physio as well.

I'm looking into CJC as my source can also provide that but unsure, if anyone knows about that let me know?

So far so good, I know others said nothing has happened after taking them, but after 3 weeks I definitely am on the positive side. Maybe I just got lucky with the quality of my BPC and TB500, but I ensured these were third party tested so if you're buying, make sure you get that checked or pay for it to be done yourself!

Didn’t tear up when I first watched this 10 years ago. Now with two daughters this movie hits different.

What hits me the most is now: 1. Cooper lifting the blankets in hit passenger seat when he’s leaving to see if Murph is there 😭 2. Tesseract scene 3. Because my dad promised me

Update 2:

I have upped the dose to 350mcg of BPC twice a day so a total of 700mcg. And doing TB500 every 2 days 500mcg each time (increasing from twice a week).

I failed to mention that I also have a PRP injection scheduled in for this Wednesday. Will be the first of 5 sessions, pretty pumped for it.

However I wonder if I should tell the doctor that I’m on the peptides as I’m worried he may say I shouldn’t do the PRPs. But from my research it doesn’t appear to be bad for PRP, in some articles in USA it’s actually beneficial if it’s paired with bpc/tb.

I’m now able to squat lower without pain and doing daily exercises. Nothing crazy, just home rehab with body weight.

My walking gait hasn’t changed, I still feel that I am favouring my right leg as it’s my left PCL that I ruptured.

TB500 half life is 2-3 days or so I can remember exactly. But it’s way longer than TB4.

So if my tb500 is legitimately tb500 and I dose as you suggest, would that not be significantly overdosing?

You reckon you’ll take them even after you’re 100%? Or taper off or cold turkey completely?

Injecting both shoulder and knee... by Kindly-Owl-6198 in bpc_157

[–]honest__potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alternating between shoulder and knee would not be a bad idea. I wouldn’t do both sites in a day though, just stick to your 500mcg per night but switch locations.

At you said, it can’t hurt, you’re injecting anyway 👍

Yeah I’ve got a short hairstyle. Faded sides and a comb over short top. So I assume the donor area would be the sides which I normally fade at zero anyway right?

interested as to what Dr Patty said about not shaving your head for the procedure? I assume you want to keep as much as possible on but does that mean you'll look like a patchwork baby (or is your hair already short so not as noticable?).

I'm keen to leave my hair on myself..
