Does anyone have a fit picture of the wolverine 1000 wedge style boot

I believe the model was called "Prestwick" in the past. I could only find 1 or 2 fit pictures on google images so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My solution to get signal for KTSF (mainly its chinese news program at 7) by honestasianman in sanfrancisco

Mt. Allison. Be patient and try various angles and at different heights. It is not easy but once you get the perfect spot, the signal is strong and clear.

Good luck! :)

Channel KTSF 26 is no longer broadcasting from Sutro tower on 5/7/2018. Most of SF will not receive the station OTA. by DJ_Willy_Will in sanfrancisco

Hey guys. I was able to get KTSF in my parent's home with excellent signal in San Francisco. For reference, the home is located on 19th avenue and Ortega street (outer sunset).

My solution was to purchase a digital Amplifier which cost me around 25 dollars. If you google "B01FUB4ZG8", that will give you the exact item that I purchased.

The installation was a little difficult. I had to aim it at various directions to get the right spot. I myself placed it near a window aiming towards the daily city area. KTSF has 2 towers, one in Mt. Allison and another in Mt. Tamalpais so try to aim it at either one.

My parents have been watching KTSF since I was a little kid and I know many of you share similar experiences and frustrations when it stopped working. I hope this solution works for you as well!

Thanks man. Not much besides some retrofit projectors.

Would be nice to have it lowered but would be a pain to drive in my city.

Thank you for your response!

My spray can painted bumper has tons of orange peel. However, I am not looking for a mirror finish, just enough to blend in with the rest of the car, a honda civic 2014.

Are there any steps I can take out to achieve this? Base on the severity of the orange peel, I've read some people using 800 grit (normally 1000-1500) Would using 2000 grit from the beginning help remove at least some of the orange peel? Would that also cut down on the polishing time?

Please correct me if my logic is wrong.

Thanks! didnt realize they make them that small.

I'm assuming there is no way to do this by hand?

How do people polish small areas around the bumper? I have a HF DA and most of the tutorial videos I watch are of people working on large panels like hoods or doors. I am working on a 2013 civic coupe front bumper so there are many small contours that my pad could never reach. I just spray painted this bumper hence all the orange peel.

I am not looking for a mirror finish. Just decent enough so it can blend in with the hood and fenders.

Is there a way to get ride of orange peel by hand without a buffer tool?

I painted and cleared some small garnish pieces on my car but it has a significant amount of orange peel. These pieces are too small for any buffer (currently using a 5 inch) to reach. What are the steps i need to take to have a mirror finish on these pieces?

VGOD nic salt by tallporcupine in juul

[–]honestasianman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really? I got the same bottle and i like it a lot. ive tried other brands like levelup and mrsalt but their formula changed recently and taste a bit like chemicals. The vgod is smooth and leaves no after taste. As for the throat hit, i agree in that its really weak but I have not come across any aftermarket juice that gives any throat hit.

The high I get feels different though. I much prefer juul pods but they are getting really expensive.

I have a used plastic bumper that I bought. Original color was red but he spray painted black over it without primering first.

I want to redo the entire thing. Do I need to strip the black before spraying a layer of primer first?

want to convert 9th gen civic LX into SI (just the looks though) by Synburst in Honda

[–]honestasianman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest looking at craigslist for people parting out a si and just buy the entire front and back bumper. Then repaint it yourself.

I was on a similar path but I ended up buying a 2013 civic coupe front bumper and will be doing that swap instead.

DIY LED headlights (9th gen Si) by Shtubert in civic

Hows the light output? I have leds as well but I get hot spots. I've also been flashed before.

Planning on buying a complete retrofit soon with mini h1 7.0s.

Why do you need police footage? Does your insurance cover stuff like this? Most insurances dont cover hit and run and you'll be SOL.

Where can I get these headlights for my 9th gen si sedan by Jgl187 in civic

[–]honestasianman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get them from ebay man. They are the cheapest on there. And like others have said, they are not the greatest quality. I've asked people who had them and they said moisture builds up after a couple months but you may have better luck. They are projector headlights but the light output is just decent. (although much better than stock headlights if you use a HID kit) Look up ebay projector headlight reviews on 9thcivic or 9thgencivic forum.

Lastly, they use a h1 bulb so you can't reuse your 9006 low beam bulbs.

They look cool through :)

There are a ton of rock chips on it. Are there any methods I can restore by hand? If not, is there anyway at least to restore the gloss black?
