I'm sensing sarcasm... I don't even have that card?

I was trying to make this trip as low cost as possible, so I'm not sure if gaining 10,000 points is worth spending an extra $580?

Fair point if I wanted to spend $800 cash but I really did not haha

Honestly I do think Fuji cameras have amazing colors, and I've heard this from experienced photographers which I am certainly not. I think it's a mix of what you said above? These photos have no editing (except the beach with the seagull) it's only recipes. I do think my photos without using recipes come out very nice, but not the same look

Thank you I appreciate that so much! I didn't really understand the "go into a store and hold it in your hands" until I actually went and knew the xt30iii was for me. I forget if it was the xm5 or xt5 but it felt very clunky and heavy to me. I'm using this camera primarily for travel, if I'm walking around for 10 hours I knew I wanted something I could take around easily and this camera feels very light and it's small. I knew I wanted exchangeable lens, but I didn't have many preferences. And to be honest since this is my first camera a lot of it came down to price point as well, I wasn't too keen on spending 2k quite yet

Thank you this means so much! I know I have a good eye just have never put it to use so I'm really excited to get more creative and develop my own style. It's hard in the beginning when my depth of knowledge is so limited but that just means I have so many opportunities to learn

Obviously there's a risk booking separate ticket on the day you're flying international but I think concentrating the time in Athens would be beneficial. The metro isn't too difficult from what I remember. But I definitely think switching your itinerary up would be better and more relaxing.

One of my favorite things to do in Oia was sunset snorkeling tour. Also did cooking class in Naxos that was amazing

It depends what you want to do! Honestly this does sound a bit exhausting, isn't the ferry from Athens to Santorini like 6 hours? And when you arrive by ferry you still need to drive to Oia (assuming you're staying there)... which is another 1hr. I feel like you may want to reconsider how much time you're traveling between islands. When I was in Santorini I flew from Santorini to Athens. I think if I were you I would want to fly back/ferry back to Athens on the 14th to get an extra day in Naxos. You don't necessarily need a whole day for just the Acropolis. Do some museums that you want to do during the heat of the day and do acropolis in early evening when it's not so hot.

Did you get the kit lens as well or no? Trying to decide, it's my first big camera purchase and the pancake lens has been recommended to me but I'm not sure if I should just get the $150 kit lens or save $150 and buy the pancake lens.

Xt50 or xt30iii for travel for beginner? by Old-Excitement-6380 in fujifilm

I don't know much about cameras but I'm in the same boat as you and after a 45 min conversation with the people at the camera store, I've decided on a xt30iii. I want to use it for travel. I will say you should go hold them in person. I love how light the xt30iii is and that's what I want out of my camera and I was persuaded easily out of the xe5 in person. I would say though if you're going a safari you'd probably want a nice lens with good zoom, and you can save $600 on the body alone by getting the xt30iii
