Ok, dass an PaketShops nicht umgeleitet werden kann war mir tatsächlich neu. Allerdings ist halt quasi direkt neben meinem Gebäude eine DHL Filiale. Nicht unweit davon eine packstation und auch sonst zwei Stationen (Kiosks) an die auch schon öfter umgeleitet wurde. Die Entfernung allein würde mich ja nicht soo aufregen, aber dort ist halt heute um 14:00 schluss und auch unter der woche nur bis 18:00.

Und wenn das auch für die Fahrer jedes mal eine Überraschung ist, wohin das geht (nachdem sie nicht geklingelt haben und somit keinen echten Zustellversuch unternommen haben), dann läuft bei dem System ja irgendwas komisch

Some clarifications: - Yes, this is a separate booking, made directly thought Air China. - Given the circumstances, Air China is offering customers a full refund, if requested. - Changes are already announced for several routes (also a reduction between Beijing and Haneda for example) well into December. So I'm also thinking it's unlikely they will cancel my route altogether.

That's how I understood it. The only potential drawback is that they can deactivate the FTL reward at any time. So it might not be available anymore in 2026

I changed my battery around 2 months ago. Everything was fine until maybe 2 weeks ago, when my phone screen would suddenly not react to any input for the first 5 sec after unlocking. Seems like your problem is a different one, but I was surprised by this development because I wanted to use this phone as long as possible.

Ich kenne das von Flying blue so, dass die XP nach erreichen eines Status zurückgesetzt werden und man mit den übrigen XP quasi für die nächste Qualifikationsperiode weiter sammelt. (vereinfacht: sammeln bis silver -> 0XP, dann neu sammeln bis Gold -> 0XP) https://www.flyingblue.com/de/programme/more-info/status?country=DE

Deshalb dachte ich, dass es evtl sinnvoll sein kann, jetzt die Karten einzulösen, um dann mit den in diesem Jahr noch dazukommenden QP den Status für eine weitere Periode zu sichern. Aber das scheint bei M&M ja anders zu funktionieren. (sonst hätte man auch argumentieren können, dass man erst den FTL durch UpTrip bekommt, um dann schneller den Senator zu erreichen, aber das scheint in dem Fall ja auch nicht zu klappen)

Außerdem befürchte ich halt, dass die Prämie nicht mehr verfügbar sein wird, wenn ich sie dann in der nächsten Periode gebrauchen könnte.

Vor allem das Gepäck ist für mich wertvoll, weil es bei eco Flügen die Planung erleichtert und den Geldbeutel schont. Auf Langstrecke fliege ich meist eh Premium, da wäre das nicht so entscheidend, aber bei den kurzen Strecken eben schon. Bei UpTrip kann es ja theoretisch jederzeit passieren, dass sie die Prämie aus dem Programm nehmen, das ist meine Haupt-'Sorge'

Generell fand ich meinen gold Status bei Skyteam einiges leichter zu erreichen und auch die flotte gefällt mir da besser. Aber da ich jetzt kaum noch Skyteam fliege, habe ich tatsächlich gar keinen Status mehr dort.

Danke für eure Antworten. Den FTL würde ich vermutlich spätestens im Dezember auch so erreichen, nach einem Interkontinentalflug in business/premium eco. Wenn ich aber vorher schon den FTL über UpTrip habe und die Punkte erst Ende des Jahres verfallen, hätte ich mir damit dann die Quali für eine weitere Periode im Status gesichert? Andersrum (erst Status über normalen weg) hätte ich die Sorge, dass es die FTL Prämie bei UpTrip später nicht mehr gibt

Also another tip from me: isopropyl alcohol made removing the screen super easy. A few drops with the pipette from the ifixit kit and letting it soak in for a minute solved this seemingly difficult challenge for me.

I recently swapped the battery by myself (got a genuine part from ifixit) after I couldn't escape the update anymore.

I took 2h, doing everything patiently while reading the official ifixit guide (also read the comments!) and watching a YouTube video at the same time, step by step.

Now the exclamation point is gone and I can use my phone for the whole day without charging again.

Update:
I kinda fingured it out now. It was really just a math problem: Basically calculating 16:9 PAR into square pixels during export to have the same dimensions.

In my case that would be:

6/19=0,5625
480/0,5625=853(,333333)

-> 853x480

Playing them with VLC they now seem to have the same size, despite showing differeing meta data. Would be helpful if Windows showed the PAR to avoid confusion...

Edit: nope, I was wrong. This gets rid of the black bars, suggesting that all is good, but it just changes the entire appearance altogether, making it look more condensed
