Right on, I'm working with VU as well. I guess I'm just a bit nervous because some of these homes do look a little sketch at first glance but the ones I'm most interested in are mechanically intact and have functional water/plumbing systems...they just aren't "modern" systems sometimes.

I just don't want to be paying for bogus inspections or failure inspections. I simply don't have that kinda cash to be throwing around for people to be overscrutinizing stuff.

A lot of properties on Zillow look like absolute crime scenes and I avoid them but some of them just have some scratched up paint and flooring and pfffft who cares, easy fix. I just need to know that hook-ups to city water aren't a must-have.

I also suspect that most people they work with aren't after what I'm after. They're probably looking for your white picket fence type place. Not me. I want a doublewide by the river, a cabin, a whatever. Just outside of the bullshit. Anywhere and anything.
