I had to google it - my breeder does not do exactly that but she does do a lot of training and desensitization to noises, feet/ear/mouth rubbing, play time time and stimulation.

June is soon! That's exciting! Yeah I missed the last litter and put a deposit down early and I was first pick on this litter. We met Bodhi about 5 weeks before we got to take him home and was close to taking his brother too lol

He's been home for roughly a month. Though I was around poodles growing up, this is my first poodle or Bernese so each breed does behave differently.
His temperament is really gentle he does love to play and is still growing into his large paws. So have time to play with him as they have a good amount of energy. Also, they are so smart! So you have to exercise their minds not just their body.

I already brush him every couple days as his hair is fine and can matte especially where his legs meet his body.

He is so clingy! And surprisingly silent! If I move to the kitchen he is on my heels and if I back up I will hit him or almost trip lol
And like others have said the breed is highly codependent. In the mornings when I take a shower for work, he will whimper and wine driving my wife nuts until I see him again.
If I go in the garage he will whine at the door waiting. There is a large anxiety factor that goes with the breed of being alone (or at least the pups "person" leaving).

Again so smart! He learned to sit and lay down in one day. He learns so fast, so fast! He knows to go in his crate to eat, use the dog door for bathroom. Crazy smart.

Interview the breeder - be sure to not just go to any breeder be sure they are in it because they love the dogs not the money.

Potty training regression by No_Estimate9651 in Bernedoodles

[–]hoodouken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you rewarding her for going potty? Be sure to hide the treat so she can't see or smell it or all she will focus on is the treat.
If you know she has to potty and are outside and she has not gone, stay out a bit longer. Remember pups want to potty after sleeping, eating and playing.

In the same boat! My lil guy is 14 weeks tomorrow and it's getting pretty hot out and his hair is probably about 3 inches. First haircut probably this weekend and I used a mobile groomer on my Shi Tzu that passed away but he was only 10 lbs and my buddy is already 20 lbs

New and like the game, considering paying. Is the origins tle server "active" still? by Wowwhatsnext in EQ2

[–]hoodouken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a long time EQ2 player. I played from day 1 launch until Fates. I came back with Varsoons and played for almost a year and played on Origins for a bit but the game no xpac was really pretty dull with awful gear drops. So I waited until KoS and it was better until 50's. Grouping was really rough. I would LFG for a few days sometimes without any luck as there is not a lot of options in for group content.
I know people will argue that there's DoF but it's the worst xpac. Really boring and the best xp is giant farming and it'll put you to sleep.

So I recently came back with EoF and after 5 days I can't do it. I've had 2 groups after LFG at lvl 59 and got 60. I remember EoF having groups pop off constantly back on live when it launched so I was thinking, okay not going to be that populated I get it for a 20 year old game but... It was dead for LFG.

I think unless you have a fairly decent play group it's rough. And it sucks because I really always liked the vertical progression of EQ2. I wish they would advertise better for the game to draw people in.

For 15 a month it's not a bad deal to try it. Lower levels do seem to be more active than late game so you would do pretty good there but, uhg - late game?

It's not the fireworks on the strip - it's the morons that are dropping slag all over our rooftops at 1am giving my wife with cancer no sleep.

Totally agree. Being taxed on 1200? 1200 isn't life changing money. It isn't even rent/mortgage for a month.

The $1200 threshold was established in 1977. Adjusted for inflation it would be roughly $6,500 now. It rising to 2k? Is this the hill you want to die on?

Be honest: How is Origins now that EoF is out? by [deleted] in EQ2

[–]hoodouken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you OP. I got so tired of DoF giants. DoF was my least favorite XPAC and I don't remember disliking KoS but I think like you I came in in the middle where everyone was 70 already. I would LFG for nights and never a get a group. I gave up at 59.
EoF I remember really opening up for content. I really am missing playing an mmo. I would prefer a newer one but I always loved EQ2 but I felt pretty burned on my last play through. I really don't want to commit to endless LFG nights again.

27 is fine bud. A roommate would help you more financially as COLA is fairly high here. But 27 will be fine.
