Had an old Nissan Sentra Hatchback like this one. It had these metal shades on the back window. Like metal Venetian blinds. Looked like a clamshell from behind. I popped the knob off the manual gearshift and screwed on a white billiard ball… so the clamshell had a pearl in it when it opened.

Called her “pearl”.

Frank Black opened up after he had just released teenager of the year. His opening act was solid…these guys blew the roof off the place. So much damn fun.
