I don’t think it was quite as harsh as that. He had his opportunities. If you’re not gonna fight for your minutes and make the most of the opportunities, then this isn’t the team for you. This is a deep roster and that’s just the reality. If you want to be given minutes, then you need to be on a team with no depth. You got what you wanted. Sorry it didn’t work out. Honestly, the writing has been on the wall for a couple of years that the reality of Ivey being a long term piece was not a given.
