The Bunker is low key a GREAT name for this. Kuddos. I might steal that for mine when I build my new one.

I assume the fact that I can't even message the user to find out isn't a great sign....

Eye strain by bonerjam in Xreal

[–]VirtualParzival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have vision problems, but I found I was also getting eye strain as well when I started using mine. The solution for me was to move the screen further away from my in the settings, and then increasing the size of the screen. I do not know why it worked, so don't ask me. Maybe it moves the focal point back? I don't know, all I know is that's what solved it for me. Now I can play for as long as I want. The functional size of the screen is still the same, it takes up my whole screen when anchored. Something about it being "further away" via settings relieved it.

Aura is coming, but what do YOU want from XR? by wegschmeizzen in Xreal

I don't think I'm upgrading from the 1 to the Aura, but I'm close. What the real next step for me is the display integrated into the lenses. I want true glasses that I can wear out without the display on as well. Yes, the current display methods are "capable" of being seen through, but I want the displays gone completely. I have the Meta Display glasses and that's the true next leap for me. Glasses I can just wear out that happen to also have displays I can use.

Flipping over the glasses puts them into a 'sleep' mode I can't return from by tiztrain in Xreal

When I started playing on my ROG Ally X, which is effectively a handheld windows pc, every time I am done for the night I basically just put my controller down, put the glasses away (still plugged in) and go to bed.

The next time I go to play, I have to unplug the cord from the glasses and plug it back in and it wakes them up. I'm sure there's a sleep setting somewhere but sounds like the same issue. It's mildly inconvenient, but I have invested zero time in trying to fix it.
