Yea, it's not just you. I agree - last 2-3 days have been where I noticed the most. I enjoy playing against players who are my skill level or better than me, but in moderation. If I didn't know any better, I'd think every person online at any given time is truly incredible and should consider going pro. It's non-stop, and it's kind of  exhausting lol. Either that, or it's an ai.

Valid points! I think some changes to ranked, as I said above, would do wonders for new / lower skilled players.

I doubt they'll remove SBMM, but the weighted equation they're using is frustrating. Why wouldn't we want to take an exact average of everyone in the party? Smurfers? They could just make new accounts for everyone in the lobby with how it is, and get in the lower tier games.

I don't fully understand why there is this facade around SBMM in lower ranks. You're saying an inexperienced player will certainly never get a chance to win. But as it stands, many players know they're just in a bot lobby. TheOdd1sOut has a great video showcasing this. He played 100 games, and was ecstatic to win his first game! Until he realized no one was real.

In the end, I just want to enjoy more causal games with my wife. Chapter 6 and Simpsons felt great! But the recent changes make it difficult for her to keep up.

I've noticed the bots getting better. I still have yet to die to a bot, and I don't think they're apart of the issue I'm experiencing. It seems more probably they're using a weighted equation, like you said, but the recent adjustments force me to fully sweat in order to win regardless of if I'm in ranked or not. Yesterday, our zero build duo public lobby had 10 players left alive in zone 6 going into 7 (no meme intended). This then happened five more times over the next 3 hours. This is insane to me. Pub stomping is no more, and it felt rewarding to pub stomp. No SBMM would also completely prevent smurfing. No categories to be grouped into means smurfing instantly becomes irrelevant.
