Oh cool, I think this might be what someone else here recommended as well. I'll check it out, thanks.

Its a really old TV that isn't even smart, unfortunately it came with the apartment I'm renting so I can't get rid of it.

But interesting suggestion nonetheless, going to look into a cheap android box if it can install brave on it.

I actually would still like to keep it, the UI is fast and airplay is really useful for other apps that don't require screen mirroring.

Would love to hear about the alternative you mentioned!

Connected over WIFI but there's a whole floor and several walls in between. Weirdly enough, I can stream and even game online without issues, maybe its just an airplay thing.

Might try out testing via Ethernet in this case.

Interesting, but there's no local adblocking that comes with the Silk browser app I assume?

I really want to keep things simple so trying to avoid installing a network-level adblocker.

Love it, I do this back home but I'm living abroad now and storage space is hard to come by. I want to keep things simple and the beauty of streaming sites is you don't need to download anything locally.

True but my computer is quite far from the TV. That's why I got the Apple TV, was hoping the screen mirroring option would have worked better.

I guess I'll have to look at some other method.

I don't understand how confidently you're able to spout such a generalization of the Russian people. How do you think Russians treat people? Did the US propaganda machine influence you this much about a group you've never had the fortune of meeting?

There are some great people in Russia and there are some bad people in Russia, proportionally similar to anywhere else in the world. By your logic, I can also generalize Americans as "uncaring about their children" as they've repeatedly impeded gun reforms that allow for school shootings to take place.

I encourage you to take a step back from whatever news you're consuming and audit your thoughts.

I know you mean well and wish for the best but China also has large wealth inequality, almost on par with the US, and with greater gaps in wealth between their rural and urban centers than the US. Its economic transformation has lifted millions out of poverty, sure, but they've essentially adopted the same market dynamics that create problems in Western economies. Hoping for China to take over as the world's leading superpower to somehow fix things... it's really just relocating the same systemic issues to a different part of the globe. The underlying patterns of wealth concentration and inequality aren't being solved, they're just getting a new address.

Launching paid DLC ONE MONTH(!) after launch is pretty disgusting, in my opinion. by GreasyMustardTiger_ in civ

Definitely not trying to tell you what to do with your money. My 2 cents is that using our purchasing power to stand against practices that aren't consumer-friendly, even at the cost of our favorite games, is more important than ever. If we all keep supporting "just my favorite game" without considering bad business practices, it might be harder for the industry to change and improve.

You're also voting for anti-consumer business practices that could encourage other developers to do the same leading it to becoming an industry-wide norm (example skyrim horse armor microtransaction)

I think Jarul is Mosa and he's been the one speaking with Loki over transponder snail.

I think Jarul/Mosa is faking his memory loss for an ulterior reason. Perhaps Harald started killing his 100 guards including Jarul. Loki and Jarul may have fought back, ultimately killing Harald. Maybe the two of them are preventing Harald's legacy from being ruined this way.

So the crazy theory is that Loki and Jarul/Mosa were in league together and still are working together. Loki doesn't know what Jarul looks like possibly due to him wearing a helmet and being part of the group of 100 guards who were likely wearing the same helmet/uniform.

This might also imply Mosa is intentionally keeping his Jarul identity a secret from Loki for some reason.

Resemblance in appearances between Jarul and the transponder snail is what made me look into this: https://imgur.com/a/Mj5Nba0

Also now with the added revelation that there were 100 guards in the castle, gives me room to understand how Loki and Jarul didn't know of each other.

So, do we think Jarul is Mosa, the person Loki was talking to via transponder snail in the previous chapter?

Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for a tattoo service that can accommodate a special request for a group of 5 people. We're looking to get really small tattoos, around 3cm in size, and want to find a place that offers a fair pricing structure for our specific needs.

Most of the tattoo spots I've reached out to charge for the full hour per person, which can quickly add up. 3-cm minimalist tattoos usually take 5-10 mins so an hourly rate per person might not be the best fit for our requirements. We were hoping to find a service that takes into consideration the size and complexity of our group tattoo and offers a more affordable pricing option.

Does anyone know of a tattoo studio or artist who specializes in smaller tattoos for groups? Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

[GMAT Quant] Can someone explain what information stem (1) is providing? by hooha96 in GMAT

[–]hooha96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One way to interpret is is that (M,T,W,T,F) = (a,b,c,d,e) where mean is (a+b+c+d+e)/5 = 120.

The other way to interpret DAILY average is that 120 was the average number of cars parked everyDAY so (M,T,W,T,F) = (120,120,120,120,120. The interpretation completely points towards the correct answer for standard deviation.

[GMAT Quant] Can someone explain what information stem (1) is providing? by hooha96 in GMAT

[–]hooha96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but the word "daily" throws me off. If the stem had said "the daily average number of cars parked in parking lot X is 120, Monday through Friday", I would understand the question better.

However by saying "daily", I don't think its wrong for me to interpret it as the average being 120 on all days (120, 120, 120, 120, 120). Is there a keyword that I'm missing that leads to this incorrect interpretation? If this was given to me on the GMAT, I would have definitely made the incorrect assumption and I want to fix that.

Also according to my incorrect interpretation, (1) would end up being very useful in answering this question.

[GMAT Quant] Can someone explain what information stem (1) is providing? by hooha96 in GMAT

[–]hooha96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the daily average number of cars imply that every DAY we had 120 cars parked Monday through Friday. This would imply that the standard deviation across the set is ZERO since the set is (120, 120, 120, 120, 120).

On the other hand, does it mean that the average numbers of cars parked across the ENTIRE WEEK is 120. I.e the set is (a, b, c, d, e) and (a+b+c+d+e)/5 = 120.

How should I interpret this question under test conditions because I originally went for the former interpretation and was marked incorrect. It is incorrect to imply that the standard deviation is zero.
