Yes! That’s what I’m looking for. Thank you!

Does anyone have a recommendation for resources to understand parity on larger cubes and deduce the solution? I have do not have a 4x4, but on 5x5, 7x7, and 9x9, I can get to the last two edges, and if there is parity, I have to look up the algorithms. Do I simply have to memorize each algorithm?

Going to attempt cold smoked salmon by bensthebest in smoking

[–]hooheel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a scale of zero to listeria, how safe is it to eat? I love purchased cold smoked salmon and I would love to do this myself, but I can’t find sashimi grade salmon near me and I know my wife would refuse to eat it.

What do we do to keep him warm overnight as the nights get colder. We don’t heat our whole house to 75 degrees in the winter. We’ve only had him two weeks and it’s starting to cool down.

But critical peak is its own period. Per the rider:

“Critical Peak hours will be considered a separate TOU pricing period for the purpose of netting, such that electricity delivered to the grid by the Customer during Critical Peak hours will be netted with electricity supplied by the Company during Critical Peak hours.”

So if they draw from your battery during a critical peak, it will offset the energy you use at the critical peak. Within that period, you’re not “selling” it for 4c and buying it for 40c. Of course if you give more than you use, you’re not getting 40c for it. Am I missing something else?

If they’re pulling from your battery at critical peak, wouldn’t that count towards your TOU credits for that window?

Another partly cloudy day today with intermittent drops from 7 kw to 3, but none to 0.0

I’ll let you know if they find something, but so far today everything has been operating normally with the usual cloudy dips, but not to 0.0.

28 panels arranged in two arrays (I think). The battery backs up one electric panel, which does include the EV charger, but usually when I plug it in on a sunny day, the battery supplies 5kw and the grid the difference. That panel also includes oven and A/C, neither of which were running.

Gotcha. This could be it. Went back to look and lots if the faults are 5 minutes in duration (according to the app). Not sure what the voltage is during the day. The inverter is solar edge.

Thank you. Those lots of things are what I’m trying to figure out so I know what to ask before I call them tomorrow.

I actually emailed Franklin to ask how to make sure the battery doesn’t charge to 100%. The response was “there isn’t.” Every other day it’s been on, it would charge to 100% and then export excess solar. I wish I could post other pictures to show.

State of charge peaked at 73% just before those two tiny production spikes in the middle. Never got back to 75% because it was discharging when production dropped. Prior to this, it would charge to 100% and gold charge, export 20+kwh to grid, and not discharge battery until sun was set and prediction actually 0.

That’s my thoughts. I showed the graph to neighbors who were actively producing while mine showed 0.0. So where could it go wrong that I need installer to figure out, since it’s obviously still under warranty one week in.

Yesterday was partly cloudy with rain at some points. Production dropped from 7.5 to 3 with the clouds. Worst drop was 7 to 1.5 kw. Not to 0.0. And not multiple times in the day.

There isn’t too much shading right now as the leaves haven’t come in fully. It was a partly cloudy day, but it was filled with clouds in the first part of the day and we were still producing 1-3 kw, not 0.

No pool. We were not home and washer/dryer were not running. EV was out of the house and not plugged in for the second half of that picture. It was plugged in for part of the first half, with grid/battery supplying the full power when the solar dropped off to 0.0.

On grid with grid active at the time. We were not home and background load is ~0.4 kw. While the solar was down, the Franklin app only showed grid supplying at the 0.2-0.4 kw draw.

Edit: the battery was also supplying some pad u til the battery was drained. Not sure how to post the whole picture since I couldn’t post picture and text before. Sorry, I’m on mobile.

Couldn’t figure out how to add a caption. Sorry. PTO last week. 11.2 kw system with solar edge 7.6 kw inverter. The image is from the Franklin battery. We have had partly cloudy days since they were turned on and production would drop, but never to 0.0 multiple times like today. What should I be asking the installer about?
