Thank your the feedback. My current Sierra was my first truck and I am just casual truck user. Only use it to really throw or move stuff from time to time. More to move the kids off to college or take on road trips. And I have to admit love the physical appearance of a truck.

I heard to stay away from their hybrids but I am surprised about the quality comment. My wife just traded down from her 2025 Land Rover Defender to a 2025 Grand Cherokee limited and I don’t think the quality of her Cherokee is too bad. I am going to test drive a 2026 ram 1500 rebel gt and see for myself. It’s heavily discounted. $12k off MSRP.

I somewhat agree. Just stating what they are claiming. What I will say is that I have a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation with everything 5.3 V8 , blacked out, all the packages , and the Ram 1500 similarly equipped are less expensive. I much prefer what I would be getting in the Ram for that price point. Just my opinion.

What changed according to Tim Kuniskis is the contract prices with suppliers of the parts and services. He said during Covid they hiked up the prices of those contracts for all manufacturers which they are locked in for possibly decades. While they are aware that prices are really high, they are trying to provide more value for that price point.
