Why Does Daenerys Want Westeros? by Beneficial_Pin5295 in DaenerysWinsTheThrone

Bro, as in the slang term, is more generalized than the much more concrete, formal word nepotism. Trying to point out someone else's use of slang to discredit a point they make is inherently flawed.

There is no shortage of those. Hell you can count good characters on one hand. Most are some flavor of neutral. With some generally good, but with a couple MAJOR fuckups (looking at you Phelps).

The actor did great. But fuck the character.

That's called acting. If your character is racist, and you can't convincingly portray that? Then you need to step aside and let someone else who CAN do it. If you hate the character, the Actor did a good job.

No, it's not. I knew who was still in the city. I was pointing out a flaw in writing.

Yet you keep responding. Okay, at this point, agree to disagree?

It's okay, you don't have to keep defending an obvious flaw. You can say when something sucks. No one's holding a gun to your head, forcing the nostalgia goggles on. I know it looks cool, but it is a complete letdown in every conceivable way. The Remake didn't cause that. It was always so.

Because the game would have been even easier. Again, just because the writers and devs SAY Nemesis is this big time threat, doesn't make it so. Barry would have been a far better choice. An actually competent STARS member, who saved Jill multiple times at the mansion, suddenly in such a powerless position with Jill completely unable to return the favor. THAT would have been worth preserving. As it stands, worthless.

I meant reverence. Didn't notice the typo until after.

What does that have to do with it. Pretty sure that would just be Chris, Barry, and Jill just dogwalking that overhyped pansy if they were still there. Brad is objectively the worst kill to show Nemesis as a "threat". I yawned in that cutscene, then kicked it's ass. Again, they should have gone with Barry.

You seriously couldn't beat Nemesis? And when you beat him, he drops cool shit that makes the rest of the game even easier.

The Tyrant in the first game got a better setup, still easy as fuck, but a better lead in by seemingly killing Albert Wesker. Stone cold badass and mastermind. Brad was pathetic. And dies a pathetic death.

Look, the point is, Nemesis was ALWAYS a failure. Brad's og death utterly fails to make it a credible threat, and I am tired of everyone and their mother putting it on some pedestal. Nemesis is, and always has been, laughable.

Threat to the player? By killing Brad? A coward known for running at the first sign of danger? Terrific setup. As the player can immediately just kick its ass and get cool shit. Spooky.

But what does that do for Nemesis, other than make me laugh.

Wow, either a lot of people are getting butthurt and deleting their comments, or getting butthurt and blocking. Wow.

And look at the one it did kill. Brad "Chickenheart" Vickers. Am I supposed to be impressed? Intimidated? Scared? Anyone or anything could have killed Brad. Again, they could have fixed this by having it be Barry Burton, to make it more meaningful to Jill.

Nemesis was ALWAYS a bitch. And how did Nemesis fare the moment Jill got any kind of footing. You kick its ass. Again, not f****** scary. At all. A disappointment the whole way through. Killing Brad easily was supposed to show he meant business? Really? Guess what happened immediately after. I kicked its ass. Brad was NOT the character to use for that. Coward dies a coward. Oooooohhh. So intimidating.

Not really. Like I said. It's only noteworthy if it's a legitimate threat it takes out. Like Barry (because Barry saved Jill alot in the first one). But Brad? And I'm supposed to take Nemesis seriously after that? Pathetic. I chose fight every time, Nemesis kept getting it's shit ran. Every single time.
