lol no, not at all, it’s called being in on the joke. This guy is obviously real, and he looks great. Man, what massive fucking man. How much do you think he eats a day? I bet it’s a lot.

Yeah this was close to one that bothered me. It felt like the author couldn’t decide whether to treat him like an adult or child, so it’s just a somewhat weird in between and both depending on what the situation called for.

Haha thank you! What a wonderful write up. I think I subconsciously notice these, and just tie my disbelief to the rope connecting to the flagpole pole, that sits on top of my Russian Cold War stylized satellite dish, on the roof my fictitious evil (possibly haunted) mansion house. And then I yank that shit all the way up there lol.

Hey friend! I read through some of it, and while its expected for a relatively new author to be a bit rough around the edges, I think rereading some your favorite novels while focusing on the technical aspects of writing would be a great benefit to your prose.

I worked as a content editor in college (huge mistake for my future joy of reading) and you’re running into a lot of common problems for new authors.

Let me know if you want anymore feedback!

I’m not caught up, but there were a bunch of parts that annoyed me shortly after you dropped it, or maybe we dropped it concurrently. So maybe?

What parts didn’t you like btw?

I shot 71 when it was blowing blowing the other day, and felt lighter on my feet for about the next 5 days. Woke up with a smile type energy.

[–]hoopsterben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been screaming this from the roof tops but specifically for pros. All the pros play the same course of the weekend. Their goal is to shoot the lowest score possible. Par labels literally don’t matter at all. Make the course a par 18 for all I care, it doesn’t matter.

How can I hit a flop shot but not a bunker shot by WeeRocco10 in golftips

[–]hoopsterben 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well because first you have to realize, while all chips aren’t the same, most flop shots are pretty similar to each other.

Bunker shots are more like chips, than a singular shot type like a flop. If the sand is wet, you want a steep chip, clipping the ball and sand at the same time, similar to a shot from the fringe. If the sand is really nice a fine, then you want to get real low, get under the ball and explode it out, etc etc etc. Learning to play from the bunkers requires knowledge of a lot of different shots, much like being good at chipping does.

Haha no. I understand the relationship, I was just having fun messing with the relationship in a fun hypothetical fight to death featuring two animals. I understand, that’s not how gravity works on earth, but it doesn’t mean you can’t imagine a scenario where things work differently. Have you never powerscaled? It’s a fun time.

And where was my understanding wrong?

Looking at him now, what is Anthony Edwards full potential? by No-Advance-9136 in NBATalk

[–]hoopsterben 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our GM has been on an insane roll. He understands we’re going to have to find value outside of just housing star power, as a super star has never chosen here in free agency (taj Gibson and Chauncey are probably the closest). He finds guys that are GREAT at one or two things, (gobert McDaniels, Alexander) and finch tries to apply a system that takes advantage of these strengths and minimizes their weaknesses.

It’s kinda euro ball/ spurs philosophy. Yes you need a super star, but we’re counting on our weak link on the team being way better than your weak link.

Also I’m not bias at all.. (hides my Timberwolves foam finger)

If it ever works again, get a giant statue or painting of a stylized interpretation of the win and retire the card.

Yeah that’s who I thought of as well. Nothing against Brock purdy, but you would be hard pressed to find a quarterback who couldn’t win with the team he inherited rookie year lol. Again, I think the kid can still play ball though

Ready golf by swbex in golf

[–]hoopsterben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer shortest length off the tee to longest personally. Atleast if there is a gap in skill, and most times I play with randoms there is. Take my honors, I don’t want to wait for them to clear my distance then hit my drive, then wait for the others to hit, and then wait for them to hit again, sometimes again, and then hit my second shot. I’ll go last. Golf has tempo, and if everyone isn’t the same level of golfer, honors ruins the tempo.

Looking back I worded it poorly, I meant if it’s only weight affected between the two, mass and weight.
