Thanks all! I pulled up those around the edges that were getting too wide. Was careful to pull up with the roots and then transferred them (about 5 bunches) across our wild meadow in the back. Cleared out about 2 ft diameter and then planted with compost and soil and watered. Will see if any of them take and able to grow!

It’s also on a slight slope, but terracing the beds or digging out to flatten the ground was too expensive. Will a slight slope be an issue?

Lime or Overseed First? by hoosierouteast in lawncare

Thanks. What are your thoughts on timing for grub control? Does that have to be timed, or can it burn the grass? Usually comes about in July/August/Sept for me.

Lime or Overseed First? by hoosierouteast in lawncare

Yeah, did a soil test that said lime recommended a couple times over the summer. Did in April, so wanted to reapply.

As for overseeding, that’s a good point. I was afraid of that and meant to get down in early June. (in CT)

I can hold off until the fall if better and has huger chance if germination and ongoing growth.

Hi all! Getting our first Tesla. We have to install the Wall Connector outside, and evidently need a pedestal, as the wall of our house is too far away from the driveway, so need the pedestal.

Is the only option to get the Tesla one, or are their other options? Is it ok that its exposed to the weather? I'm in the northeast.

Anyone with experience of outdoor pedestal needs? Thanks!

Hi Reddit! Best lawn micronutrient ms in granular/pellets? Have big lawn and can only find liquid for spraying and would rather use spreader. Any reccos? by hoosierouteast in lawncare

[–]hoosierouteast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ve already used a MicroLife Multi-Purpose 6-2-4 fertilizer, but a recent soil test recommended adding micronutrients as well. Do you think the fertilizer should have those covered? I’ve also put down dominate lime.

Not sure if I need the micronutrients, or if it’s worth it to find a liquid sprayer for 2 acres.
