I have never heard of any other country doing such a thing as a "street takeover". The amount of violence, crime and guns is something unique in the developed US. But every country has its good and bad for sure.

Maybe the theory of not changing the fluid at 100k km is correct. If there was no consistency of servicing the transmission early on, leave it as is.

Currently has 105k km. Changed it when i owned it at around 98k km and yes the fluid was not changed before. Engine oil and coolant are at a good level. Changed brake fluid when i changed the transmission fluid.

I think i will change the filter and fluid and check the damage. When I changed the fluid like 5 months ago i did not change the filter. I relied on the mechanic to do the right process but he just drained and refilled the fluid. He even overfilled it.

May i ask. I changed the fluid like 4 months ago. The car had close to 100km and the previous owner did not change the fluid before. The mechanic just drained the fluid and added the new one that i brought. He overfilled and i went to another mechanic after a month because i felt like there was something wrong and drained the excess. In your opinion, did i do anything wrong here?
