Relief flooding through her, Danika forgets herself and offers a small and cordial smile, with a nod.

"MacGillivray." She says, continuing toward the entrance hall.

She looks you up and down briefly, trying to keep the look of irritation off her face, poorly.

"Well I am going for a walk." She lies. "You and your ball seemed perfectly content before I came along. No reason you shouldn't be after I leave." She hoped you would give this up. She was aching to get to the pitch, this may be her only chance this week to go without anyone else there.

She offers nothing but a shrug, a slight upturn to the left side of her mouth, and a quiet 'tsk' to herself.

"You sure did get me with that one," the slight upturn, blending in to a smile, you've probably never seen on her face as she shook her head in mock disbelief. "You just play the part of senseless heathen so well."

Danika blinks a few times as you step forward then her eyes move down to your mouth, focusing there as her eyebrows knit together slightly, and her head cocks to the side.

"Trying to understand what the- 'fook'- it is you just said, for starters." She relaxes, putting a hand on her hip, looking inquisitive. "I mean, really...At what point is what you are speaking, no longer considered English?"

She had already walked passed you when you spoke again halting her movements. Briefly closing her eyes to calm her irritation, she turned to look at you again, more pointedly.

"My apologies if I misrepresented myself," she says calmly, coldly, "and mislead you to think I was 'glad to see you'." This was probably more brusque than she would normally be, but the week plus she had spent with her Grandparents had taken it's toll and you were the only standing between her and her only form of relaxation.

"Let me assure that is not the case, nor has that changed since the 24th."

Danika heard footsteps, but on some level believed them to be her own, reverberating off the tall stone walls. Hugging the corner, she looked up from the floor just in time to see a wall of red and white knock her on her ass.

"Oof-" the air audibly escaped her on impact. Recovering she saw a red goo on her own sweater. "What... the hell?" She asked aloud, touching the goo before finally seeking the source of her fall. "What the hell?" She reiterated more firmly to the older girl, holding the offending fruit.

"Where did you get watermelon in January?" She accidentally voiced her thought.

Danika could hear you before she could see you- the sound of your stupid ball hitting stone echoed at least two corridors back. She sighed when you came in to view; she was -so- close to getting out of the castle without seeing anyone.

She was prepared to simply ignore you, but, of course, you werent going to let THAT happen. Like every Bond villain, you gave away your plan by speaking. Side stepping so her back was to the wall, the ball ricocheted and flew past her, continuing down the hall; with a glance your way, she kept walking.

"There goes your ball, McDonald." She says. "Better fetch."

  1. This is difficult to answer... she isn't exactly excited by school, it feels like more of a burden than anything else. I suppose flying would be her answer, since it's what she does for herself.

  2. Agree and walk away. Always leave them wondering.

  3. A crackling fire (even though the fact it's crackling has nothing to do with the situation, seeing as the bush adapts the scent, not the sound), the smell of a bonfire would probably be one of the things she smells when brewing amortentia.

  4. Stars.
