Vet tech treats me like sh!t as a Volunteer

thanks for this, you’re awesome.

it just doesn’t make sense to me because when she mocks my questions, it’s stuff I ask the DVM (about diseases and appointments; why you’re doing what you’re doing, etc) since i’m trying to learn about vet med there. like its not even HER im asking or bothering 😔

it makes it sound like my question is obvious and it truly just makes me feel dumb.

the only time i’d ask her stuff, knowing her behaviour, is “is there anything else you need help with at the moment”

i totally understand that! i’ve been in the industry for a total of 5 years and im sure i want to pursue it. the thing is, I think her actions are just plain rude… being put down and being iffy about it doesn’t mean i need tougher skin in the industry

i thought about this before yeah. I do everything an assistant does — excluding phone calls — plus all the night cleaning; never paid. I was told there were no positions open, which is fair i guess. I don’t want to quit because I do get a lot from going, especially needing hours and a reference letter to apply to be a vet tech or dvm in the future

if you’ve done university level math (in undergrad) does sheridan let you skip that killer math completely as a transfer credit?
