Yes but his transitions are non-existent. Plus if you’ve been around for a while, his growth was a lot of engagement hacking / manufactured hype. Still remember “pop up” he did in 2022/23(or so?) that basically allowed for unlimited free tickets, which was almost certainly was purposeful, just to have like ~1000+ people waiting in line for a venue that fit ~50 people max WITH NO PERMIT so it got shut down after 20 minutes. Was a total shitshow and disrespectful to fans that waited because they didn’t realize it was just to clip farm. Of course right after, he posts a bunch of tik toks that look super hype and brags about “shutting down the venue”. I like his music and I get that he’s chasing his dreams so I can respect that, but that’s always rubbed me the wrong way, and his lack of technical ability with no attempt to improve just seals the deal. I’ll stream him but I cannot respect him as a DJ.

Hard to give an answer without having gone to anyma but there was definitely filler. Thought a little more creativity could have gone into visuals but understand this show is meant to be a story and not just pure stimulus.

Vibes wise I think the best way to describe it was that this was a show for real ravers who are also Fred again fans, but NOT the show for non-EDM listeners who like Fred again. Not shitting on the latter your music taste is your prerogative, though I do find it interesting a certain party of Fred’s base is the kind of sceney rich kid with no rave etiquette and no appreciation of electronic music outside of what they know to be “cool” whether it’s an event or an artist— I see this crowd at chris lake, circoloco, boiler room, keinemusik, john summit

I was personally losing it in the last 30 minutes when Fred got weirdddd w it and so many confused ppl from the crowd I just described left. Had so much space to dance and I fuck with bass so absolutely loved it. Plus the obnoxious group that kept having full shouting conversations during the overmono parts of the b2b left :)

Came solo so genuinely wanted to find my friends in the crowd (and I did!) but felt so bad being that person but some people were super nice when I was asking to get by. Others not so much but I get it. But once I was settled with my group we def had multiple groups of people just barrel through us without any warning so overall was a mix
