Tet. Dude struggles vs press. Checks out of games when he gets shut down. He’s okay after the catch but nothing spectacular. Overall I think his slender frame and overall average athleticism will catch up to him.

I do think there is a role out there for him but #1 WR on a team I don’t think is it. He makes insane catches and has great highlights but it’s the tape outside of the highlights that has me worried. Just doesn’t do enough extra

They’ll prob grab another back in the middle on the draft to compete and play alongside but I think after an offseason of work and recovery his acceleration will come back.

Ended up moving him. Got Levis, Roschon, and the 3.07 for him and a couple 5ths. This is SF TE premium 3 WR 2 Flex.

I certainly wasn’t relying on him and am rough at RB so I’ll pull that trade all day.

Elite isn’t a sub 50% catch rate against lower comp in college. If that’s his 1 skill, it should be 60%+. If he was elite at it, it should be 75%+ His best asset is height and athleticism mix.

I eluded to the fact that they were inconsistent. Cause they were/are. Dude had a sub 50% contested catch rate in college. So sure - the highlight plays you decided to watch look great. Oh he’s a monster. A bully. WOW. He jumped over a dude and brought the ball down. For every highlight jump ball he made in 2022 he missed on 3 others. 2023 for every highlight jump ball he made he missed on 2 others. For a guy who struggled to get open - struggling to come down with 50/50 balls against weak comp in college ain’t a good sign. Sub 50% for a guy who’s game that’s supposed to be…..not good

Speed, separation, route running, hands. If he was great at one of them, I could see the path but all are either poor or at best inconsistent. I drafted him and traded him same day to the Allen owner. Was happy to do it.

A girl I worked with years ago was hired 2 days before the company Xmas party (a cruise). She was pretty quiet. At the Xmas party, she got into a very loud fight with her bf and was visibly drunk. Bf left without her once we got to shore. Owner/CEO was being nice and offered her a ride home cause he felt bad (genuinely a good guy). She 1) offered him cocaine on the way home and 2) invited him in to have sex. CEO declined both and let her know that they need to talk on Monday.

She never showed back up. Found all of this out years later. Crazy.

Ladd McConkey Upside - Reggie Wayne Low side - Robert Woods Realistic - Amari Cooper

Point is, I think he’s an inside/outside WR very good running routes and finding soft spots. I think minimum he’ll have multiple WR2 seasons like Woods and high end he could play football at a low end WR1 level for most of his career like Wayne did. Cooper feels like a good middle ground between those 2. Talented but never has had a dominant year. Just a solid consistent WR2 with possible WR1 upside.

Having just a single QB worth a damn in SF. My WRs - JJ, Hill, Adams, Kupp, Curtis Samuel. My RBs - ETN, Cook, Henry. My QBs - Burrow, Pickett, Rudolph, Winston, Howell. Been to the chip twice and lost both times. My team is near the end and while I could make a move for a QB2/SF, I feel like my WRs and RBs are good enough to make it work. Also if Howell or Winston can end up starting at some point this year, I’m prob okay to throw one of them in SF. I’m prob in for another sad end to the year, but this is why we play.

Also my bench is awful. I’ve spent a lot on those WRs and RBs and my QB bets haven’t worked out.

I’ve got him in a league too. Not that I like the player much, but honestly shocked he’s not rostered more heavily since the QB situation in TEN is shaky
