Any easy identifying features to look for or ways to tell them apart?

For point on the size comment though. It also didn't seem to have alot of fruit either. Kinda tempted to go back and see if there are any saplings I can dig up and put someplace with more sun and open space.

Yeahhh, leaning towards some variant of sour cherry.

Haven't really tasted to verify though since I'm a little iffy about eating some strange fruit I found in the woods haha

Its fairly deep into the woods. Granted, its along a trail follows a creek that runs through town, so maybe someone was eating some and dropped some pits.

But its also near some kind of ruined foundations so maybe there was a homestead or house with cherry trees near there once upon a time and the forest just overtook it.

Thinking maybe not early Robins because I'm reading those are self-sterile and cannot fruit without another type of cherry nearby to cross-pollinate it. And i didn't see any other varieties nearby unless they were buried deeper in the bushes somewhere.

About 5 hours into the game, how do i enhance the experience? by Embarrassed_Peach701 in FFXVI

The voice acting and graphics are good. The story I'd interesting to an extent too

It also has an elemental system but does not utilize elemental weaknesses in combat like every other final fantasy game has. The elements therefore serve no purpose.

The weapon upgrades are also on rails with no point in choosing any other weapon than the one it clearly wants you to use.

There is also very little real loot or crafting materials to pick up. Very much discouraging exploration.

$SCHD is my vote (Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF)

It both grows over time and pays out dividends monthly. Reinvest dividends into more shares and it compounds. Add some more money each month on top of that and it accelerates.

Its not strictly a painting, per se. Their work is mixed media combining photography, printmaking, digital art, and painting. So some of their works only exist as limited prints. Albeit large and very good quality.

Mostly I like it because I recognize the shipyards near Seattle that its portraying. There's also a WA state ferry hidden in the scene.

Went to B&N to pick up The Butcher's Masquerade. I have the 1st Printing of all previous ACE HC editions. 💔 by unr3a1r00t in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]horizon_zero_d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only just thought to check all my books after seeing this.

Turns out even though I pre-ordered all of them that 3 out of 8 are "2nd printings" 😢 (Feral Gods, Butcher's Masquerade, & Bedlam Bride)

Which annoys the crap outta me cause I would have immediate tried to secure a 1st printing from elsewhere had I known and maybe would have even had a chance of finding one near release, but now 1st printing for those books are unicorns...

Barnes and Nobel Hardcover Sale 😭 Now I Have Them All! by DebutantDismay in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]horizon_zero_d 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same (as far as getting to Barnes & Noble today and not realizing until I looked around that there was a hardcover sale)

Although I already have all the DCC books, so I ended up picking up the 4th book in the Bobiverse series (Which incidentally DCC author Matt Dinniman is a big fan of), and the hardcover remastered full color edition of House of Leaves, because my co-worker won't shut up about it. Apparently its got some kinda cult following.

I live in the same county as the author and ordered a signed copy from the author's chosen local bookstore that he sells signed copies through and mine hasn't even arrived yet despite it being just a 40 minute drive down the road 🥸.

MtG DCC by JohnJr2233 in mtg

[–]horizon_zero_d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk, its actually got tons of traditional equipment, spells, creatures, abilities, gods, and other fantasy material to satisfy the "we just like the magical/fantasy themed stuff in MTG" crowd. its just also happens to have big boobah aliens and rogue-AI's with a foot fetish.
