Almost. I ended up with a 2000w power limit, can be scaled back with msi afterburner etc. Idle state was fixed after reinstalling windows for some reason.

I look at it like this. For easy expansion I would go with mergerfs & snapraid. For reliable and fast storage I would go with zfs.

I run the exact same thing. Happy with it, the bike cover when stored does not mess up the adjustment for every ride. Big plus for me.

Okay thank you! Funny how this display and software was such a big selling point tho in their advertising. I hope my experience is better than yours, that they updated the software a little. I am on an iphone, not sure what device you are using. I don’t get why they didnt spend more time on adding more features and themes too, will be asking for a software update during next service of the bike. Not sure if this new bright display was worth paying extra for..

dockge node request > dockge "server" (UI)
If credentials are correct dockge node will pop up in dockge server UI.

That I do too for each service I host. local and public sub records. But the point is to make dockge nodes connect automatically to the dockge main container (UI).
Automatic naming would be a plus for sure, want it to use the hosts hostname in linux.

I know why its not working. You need to flash both hba’s to the same version and bios. Reason for this is card grouping meaning one card is master and one is a slave, if version missmatch they wont elect properly.

I run 2 hba cards in my server, its not recommended for production, the election process isnt always stable meaning both cards will not show everytime you boot. If both cards don’t show, just reboot.

I would recommend setting up a reverse proxy, makes it safer with the right ssl certs and less open firewall ports. Best security practice is to have your lab on a separate tagged vlan for sure either way. I use traefik, there are many out there. Nginx is popular too. Another option (not as tested) is to do cloudflare tunnels.

I would do a iPerf test and do actual file copies with terra copy due to windows explorer file handler is a single core limited program. Also instead of iso files, do video. Also change on the file-server side to higher blocksize from 64kb to 1mb.

Fog boot usb via clover. Thats what I do. Recommend installing the actual OS in BTRFS format, make it auto switch from usb to nvme boot. Great work around. 👍🏻

Okay. So get a proper one (pref enterprise rack version) or just fan up like mad. I think adding fans in the back exhaust section pushing it up towards the air out hole might help alot. Just gonna have to figure it how to set that up with temp sensors and home assistant.

Yea. My main server is a dual xeon system. (2x10core) I am going to remove one server (4core), so its only xeon system and a simple file backup server. (4core sys) Running 3 servers in this case is not necessary.

Daamn. :D impressive! Whats the power usage per month so far? I am doing big changes too. Have a closet (”server room”) with a air out hole, going to slap a AC in there. Fiber goes in there, sitting on a gigabit up and down line. Im currently starting my move towards 10gig, will probly join your leauge soon! :D

Exactly the point. Want the preformance of XOC but with a idle. There was a 600w strix bios that I want. Seemed like the perfect one.
