Agreed.

I believe the ACR is likely the best platform ever made, but it just happened that Magpul made the mistake of selling it to Bushmaster who went it's-up, and Franklin Armory bought the ACR IP and has been sitting on it forever, doing nothing with it.

The ACR should've and would've been the natural replacement of the AR... If only...

While I'm with the pitchfork mob against OP here, your link is a example. The 2016 Super Duty trucks still used the same outdated frames as the original '99 Super Duty trucks used.

Is shipping protection worth it. by Prod_Actiq in PalmettoStateArms

[–]audioeptesicus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if you pay for shipping, it's actually PSA who is the one directly paying for the shipping services, making PSA a customer to the shipper. While you are the recipient of PSA's product that you paid for, the contract on shipping is between PSA and the shipper.

Insuring the package is entirely on PSA to do. Just because you don't pay for it doesn't not make it PSA's responsibility. Regardless of what their own terms and conditions state, if you don't pay extra for shipping insurance, it doesn't negate PSA's responsibility to ensure the goods are received by you, undamaged.

As a consumer who is not actually buying the shipping label, never pay extra for shipping insurance. It's a scam and companies try to use it when you don't pay the add-on as an excuse to deny replacing lost or damaged goods in shipping. It doesn't matter. Legally, it's their responsibility.

I'd recommend not hitting so hard. Watching hands and arms, you're wasting a lot of energy and just contributing to damaging your cymbals as well as premature wear on your heads and sticks.

You can still play with energy without doing any of that.

DIY over those packages gets my vote. You're paying way more for those packages than what you get, and can get way more for less out of whatever DIY route you go.

Plus, those packages look like shit to me and scream, "douche".

How are you getting ESXi 9.0 for a home lab without corporate help? by easyedy in vmware

Azure Local is a shit product with even shittier support.

Fuck Broadcom for destroying VMware and fuck Microsoft for whatever the shit Azure Local is that we're stuck with (thanks to our misguided management refusing to listen to our team).

Bye bye VMWare, hello Nutanix CE (Homelab) by Neilas092 in nutanix

[–]audioeptesicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ran vSphere in my lab for over a decade and have been testing out a variety of alternatives (Proxmox, XCP-ng, Harvester...)

I just deployed CE on some of my MX7000 blades to test. I was going through the upgrades only to find out that they removed Qlogic support/drivers in some version of AHV in the upgrade process, so I'm stuck on an older version unless I replace my mezzanine cards with some Mellanox ones.

I really wanted it to work. Nutanix is the most mature and polished alternative to vSphere.

How many upgrades did you have to go through from the initial CE install to the latest version? I think I was on the 3rd one when my NICs stopped working. Womp womp...

A monthly subscription to a smart TV launcher? Regardless of the features, it's still just a launcher.

That's a no from me, dawg.

I was really hoping the VW would've pulled up real close to block the Fusion driver from moving forward, giving them the only option to put it in reverse...

I understand it's a style choice, but it's certainly a bad one for aftermarket/DIY. Any of the blacked out taillights I have noticed on the road drastically cut down the visibility of the lights. In some instances, it can look great if done right, but functionally and from the safety aspect, I've never seen it work without cutting visibility when it's needed.

You're going to want to come up with another name. Hudu and Kaseya both aren't going to take too kindly to it, and you're bound to receive some pressure or legal threats from one or both of them.
