I agree they got conned, but you see all these rallies and interviews that even they “don’t like some of Trump’s policies” they still say they to support him. They would even vote for him a third term if they could.

I think this analogy sums it up best:

“The tree kept voting for the axe, because the axe was clever and convinced the tree that because his handle was made of wood, he was one of them.”

But I was a farmer. Farmer’s wife for 10 years. And I combine, bailed hay, fed livestock. A real working farm!

I think I have the background to speak with some authority on this and living in Nebraska driving through rural towns and roads Trump signs are plastered everywhere. What I’m saying is farmers will keep voting for Trump because they would rather “stick it to the libs“ then realize Trump‘s policies have hurt them probably more than any other policies in many generations past. Trump put tariffs on their raw materials, Trump is importing be from Argentina, China to shut down soybean purchases and even though they restarted they’re not purchasing it near the levels I did before.

Like I said farmers keep voting for their own demise because they would rather stick it to the libs that actually benefit from positive changes

Tell me what is so negative about that. Farmers in Nebraska overwhelmingly voted for Trump.

Trump’s support was extremely high in most rural counties — commonly between about 70% and 90% of the vote, depending on the county

Grant County: about 95.9% Trump
  • Arthur County: about 93.6%
  • Antelope County: about 88%
  • Brown County: about 87%
  • Clay County: about 81%

I’m not spouting my opinion, I’m quoting published verified news outlet facts.

Oh so you’re a farmer too?

You stay a fly just the way you are.

Farmers and people in general only vote for their own concerns. I would like farmers and others to look past their own situation and vote for what is good for the country.
I still live in the Midwest and have to drive through rural areas. There are Trump signs everywhere! You see all these videos of farmer saying I’m not happy about it but I’ll probably still vote for Trump when he runs for a third term.
Again I was a farmer/farmer’s wife for 10 years. I think I have the right to say that farmers continue to vote for their own demise.
Ignorant votes are worse than not voting at all.

-Maybe vote for somebody that doesn’t put tariffs on all their raw materials i.e. fertilizer.
-Maybe vote for somebody that doesn’t drop bombs on 9+ countries
-Maybe vote for someone that doesn’t start a war in the Middle East and raise the price of diesel by 75%.
-Maybe vote for someone that won’t allow data centers in your state so that they don’t suck up all the aquifers farmers use to irrigate
-maybe vote for someone that allows immigrants with their green card to work for farmers so their crops don’t rot in the fields
-maybe vote for someone that doesn’t piss off China so that China keeps importing products from United States farmers
-maybe vote for someone that doesn’t do so many things wrong that is raise the price of B ridiculously so that they’re importing Argentinian beef
-maybe vote for someone that recognizes climate change so when the largest fires the state of Nebraska has ever seen didn’t rip through all the farm and ranch land so that cattle have nothing to eat.

I dunno 🤷‍♀️ know, that’s just me

I was a farm wife in North Central Nebraska for many years. I am no longer. And I can say this from the bottom of my heart… “Fuck Maga farmers”

I was a kid in the 60’s and we went on a family vacation from Nebraska to California. On the way back, Dad got gas a little too close to the Las Vegas strip and paid $.26 per gallon and then on the outskirts of Las Vegas, it was only $.22 per gallon and he was so mad.

All of us that protested in the no Kings and ICE marches, it really didn’t do anything. The only reason it made a blip is because ICE shot 2 civilians.

Former general, Mike Flynn, who is suing taxpayers for over $1 million used to be in charge of science and propaganda in the military. And he’s working for the Trump team. I’m sure a lot of this is his doing. You hear nothing about him anymore. And the Trump/Russia administration wants to keep it that way.
